my concept AP = fake. @IwanAGP then what should we named that 1??
*
Nononono... AP is not fake. An AP set is brought in not by the Manufacturer itself to distribute but by other third party company, warranty offered by local company. Most of the time, these AP sets are brought in from country which the prices are much lower. They bring it in, they absorb the courier charges/tax and set the price higher, warranty offered by local company and sell it to customer. They earn the margin between the original price+courier+... ... and the selling price. My nokia N82, which I'm still using is an AP set. Nothing is fake inside there. The only thing they can change is probably the battery only. They battery isn't fake though. I don't know what you want to call it but I would think this is just something done by dishonest shops. Btw, I really do think this case is very rare. There won't be shops that shall take the risk in failing themselves by selling Ori/AP phone with Fake parts. Once discovered by customer or any accident happened because of those fake parts, either they get sued, else their image is also spoilt. Is that worth, just to earn 20~50 bucks from using fake parts?? Reputation is important for any shop. Btw, in this community, so called Lowyat forum, any dishonest seller/shop discovered you should be able to see them blacklisted here. Do some homework before buying. wink.gif

You don't get me... The thing is. Can they bear the responsibility when anything goes wrong? The profit they earn from doing such thing is nothing when they get blacklisted here and there. This is just my opinion. Btw, nearly everyone here get battery made in japan finished in china. So you mean all of them got a fake one? Anyway, if they're going to fake the battery, I doubt they will print something different from that on the ori battery. Right??? nod.gif

impossible whole world samsung only got 1 manufacturer factory right? whats wrong with different country? finished in china doesnt mean its fake. CHINA =/= FAKE.

regarding AP, yes there are some AP seller who change parts, those are known as black AP, just dont buy from them. if you do abit more market research you will find out there are actually some very well known AP seller who sell untouched product. im not saying all AP seller change their parts to earn extra money, im just saying because you brought it up like all AP sellers do that sweat.gif .

btw, mine is finished in korea laugh.gif . now do i feel authentic?

Just asking if you're firm and sure on your action.
It's just either yes or no.
Just wanna see if you're below or over 21. wink.gif

From my xperience, AP set will show the shop's mini sticker in the battery compartment and on the battery.
As for my Galaxy W, i can see Samsung sticker in one of the screw hole, 1 on the battery and another in the battery compartment.

@Kenzany: i personally prejudice with china & m'sia sry my mind is set liau.
china + m'sia = fake. but we know everything now is china. if got choice & chance to pick other country y not??? like arsenal jersey is made in indo. picked vietnam, myanmar, sri lanka or bangladesh on sport shoes. eg: every1 also know al-ikhsan is the largest chain store at m'sia. look at their shoes. i dare said fake 1. my family is doing shoes biz 1. they got huge workshop to make the shoes. can declared as the biggest AP shoemaker for nike & adidas at m'sia. even jersey also. compare urself v nike or adidas or puma official shop urself.
