Want to ask. How can I check if the GPS is working fine in my phone? Is there any apps that I can use to check?

u get what i mean right? full body protection not screen + gel casing on it will be perfect. silicion aka gel kytz... hard casing will scratch ur hp when u goin to remove ur battery or sim card cos u need take if off the casing.

Galaxy Ace, maybe. But no updates for their new release phones is just like telling customers not to buy their phones.  Marketing wont be so dumb to come out with products having only few months of selling period. (Maybe I used  the wrong words to describe cause I'm not a marketing student)

No need to bother so much about the battery. Battery is for use. I guess you are missing out the experience and fun of owning a smartphone. 

I would rather get a dumb phone if purely for calls and sms. Better battery life.

ringtone no problem. now i juz wanna change my notification tone (sms/messenger/etc). 

transfer your tones from pc to sd card,
using file manager from market, move your tones from memory card to phone memory according to path above. Good luck

should be in /data/app/NAME_OF_THE_APP.apk

if you chosen to "move to sd", it will be in /mnt/asec/NAME_OF_THE_APP.apk instead...

although it is in /mnt/asec/ it is actually resides inside your external sd card.

if u take out the sd card and read it from notebook (or use usb), u will see it's in /.android but it's encrypted.

if copy from /data/app, it is installable on any device. it is identical to all the apk u download.

Hi I am considering W and S Plus which is RM 400 more.

S Plus - bigger screen easier to type and view things on screen. Tho is has AMOLED screen but W screen seems sharper and brighter. Bad is Touch Wiz 3.0 not so nice compared to 4.0 and then no flash for camera.

W - Smaller and nice to hold but scared of call quality as seems many members complained of that and lower memory on board which makes it restricted if we don't root the phone.

If compare to W, advantage is bigger screen but if compared to iPhone, then W is bigger. Going to get my set this weekend but still decision not made up, W or S Plus? Any advice guys? Thanks a lot!
