You need the FREE tools
http://create.msdn.com/en-us/home/getting_started

And as with all programming platforms, a willingness to learn and experiment

2 questions for everyone.

1- Any idea how to check on how much data I used during the session like how the iPhone has it?

2 - Anyone got their *116, 128, 100, XXX# whatever number to work? Other than checking balance since *126# works for me.

Radar is just about RM100 more expensive right? I'm actually quite interested in that budget WP device... but it's white... I don't really like white devices.

Since Nokia Lumia 800 is already launched in Singapore, will we see people bring them in to Malaysia? If the price is around RM1.8k I wouldn't mind purchasing it, but they are already selling at about RM1.9k in Singapore...

Added on December 10, 2011, 2:17 pmI'm also interested in the Focus S, why can't they make it available internationally? I really don't understand Samsung's thinking. They already have the supply capabilities and distribution channels, and yet they made it exclusive to AT&T.

around RM12++ , radar got black color too, but not sure our local store got black or not? maybe is our market not much demand over WP7 devices.

check this Lupunya Screen Gorilla Glass Test !!

Added on December 10, 2011, 3:54 pmWOW!! Samsung Omnia W

I believe when Lumia 800 rolled out in Malaysia, it's RRP would be cheaper than what Singapore is selling now by MYR100~200 (Based on comparison between N9 16GB price in Singapore & Malaysia).

Anyway, Nokia salesman has mentioned that it will be here around CNY and seems to confirmed by this piece of news: http://www.engadget.com/2011/12/09/nokia-l...ted-for-coming/

Better still, try this

1. Go to Nokia store/dealer
2. Ask for N9
3. Pretend that you never knew that N9 has *Gasp* scratch resistant Gorilla Glass.
4. Snap back "How you know?"
5. In my case, the salesman gave me a blade to tests it out.

Your mileage may vary.

The Xenon flash is a failure. Rather get LED and the sensor isn't exactly the best either.
Get the Radar. Typing as a Mozart user. smile.gif

The Mozart's BIGGEST issue is the slow MicroSD based storage. Most of the loading problems are because of that.

Luckily the Radar doesn't suffer from the same issue.

So theoretically speaking, if you are able to swap Mozart's default microSD with a higher class rated card, it should be faster?

Theoretically speaking YES.. but the effort to involved to do so... just get a Radar.. you get a front camera thrown in as well!

Don't forget, Radar is using the newer generation processor, so it's slightly faster and much smoother. And the battery life is also better than 1st generation WP device.

1st gen is using 65nm fabrication
2nd gen is using 45nm fabrication .

comparing at the same speed would be greater for 2nd gen because it draws less power hence less consumption + less heat

and also better performance .

at 1.4ghz, not sure bout the consumption but should still be better .

so i believe getting 2nd gen is a good choice as well. and they factory sealed with higher capacity battery .
