I put both of my afs into the same tank.. 1 male 1 female. The male ate the female. Oh well..

Anyway, I'm going to get some yellow scorpions from Thailand. Don't know what species it is tho. Will post some picture when I get it.

Ok...

Let me help u with the id...like Rafiqos said. nod.gif

Arem...ur bug got stuck in molt because ur humidity is bad...too dry. and most probably, no water to drink.
Mine no problem with molting...they die coz erm...my bad...i forgot bout them.

Handling scorps...? For goodness sake get urself a Tong to hold it even if its a petty venomed afs. Why u wanna try to see how painful it could be ?

Well adult scorpions are slightly more expensive...theres two sides to a coin. U buy big ones, looks impressive and can breed almost immediately, but u dunno how old they are. It could be their last 2 months when u get it so u will be actually burning ur money. Buy small fry, not interesting but u get to have more pcs. Their price is slightly cheaper only.

Cannibalistic coz they DONT HAVE ENOUGH FOOD !!! My babies grow up, molt and stay together since they were lil white maggot shaped buggers...theres an exception though when it comes to Buthidaes, they tend to be more cannibalistic towards one another.

Macguyver...i tot u r a guy...since when u got castrated laugh.gif

Malowie...FYI there are different variants of afs here in Malaysia...Heterometrus longimanus, spinifer...well theres two variant of longimanus actually lol.

Yo Arem...my AES looks like ready to pop soon...u wan some ? lol

Its been so long since i come here lol...lazy
FInally i got to see how a stridulating scorpion look like...and sound like...well actually it sound just the same as a Heterometrus spp when startled. Rhopalurus junceus finally adult flex.gif

Any other question guys ?

Thot I'd share..

Euscorpius is a research publication completely devoted to scorpions. It takes a very systematic approach in learning about these wonderful creatures. Currently holds 64 publications, showing how strong a following this peer-reviewed publication has. Loads of information and pics!
