QUOTE(sg999 @ Nov 27 2011, 11:14 PM) stock proton spark plug can tahan 20k right? Normal spark plugs shld be chk-ed & serviced (cleaned) every 8-10k Km to maintain good performance. Workshops used 2b able to do that eg possessing sandblast SP cleaners which really do a fantastic job of cleaning them! But these days it's juz change & change...easier, faster & makes more $$$!

DRL also same concept, unscrew, split open, apply silicone on edges, clip back, screw, apply silicone in screw hole and wire hole. Let it dry then trim off excess silicone round the edges. QUOTE(SiuYi @ Nov 27 2011, 11:58 PM) V12Kompressor from ur pov, all after market lighting effect accessories need such touchup? Depending on quality lo, cheap ones confirm need to do it since it will last 2weeks - 2 months before water seeping in. After doing this, water will not easily seep in and hence its only up to the longevity of LEDs to determine when to change to a new sets of light. This, I learn from BLM club otai one.

QUOTE(SiuYi @ Nov 28 2011, 12:06 AM) V12Kompressor ah? ask u, if the plastic gets blur, what will u do next? no choice but to change new one since the silicone basically made the whole thing cant be opened again. or can try headlight restorer and brush off the "yellowed" layer if the yellow/blur is on the surface of the DRL.
