Gerrard's back, why worry? I'm sure he'll give more chances to score, more defensive strength. You could see it frm the last game how everyone's game improved

At least this Friday we will get a glimpse of life without Suarez. I reckon Carroll will be played upfront with Gerrard deployed behind him. Who knows if this combination could get our big number 9 scoring.

Plus, we would keep Suarez fresh for the City games in January.

unlike the racist ban, i think most if not all, will accept this ban. suarez need to calm himself down as abuses like this will continue to come

He did make an obscene gesture and evidence was conclusive so fair play. Like some of you have mentioned though, the FA seriously needs to look into the abuse he's been getting every game. If they are going to wrap Terry in bubble wrap, it's only fair they do the same for Suarez.

The club was also fined for not keeping our players in check after they remonstrated with the ref following the dismissal of Jay Spearing. Here's where I need to stress again that the FA needs to be consistent. John Terry and his merry bunch do it all the time and I'm pretty sure there are other offenders as well.

If you watch the following video, the incident occurs at about the 3:30 mark. How was our protest any worse than those we've seen from other clubs? Pepe steps right in between our lads and the ref like any captain should and it isn't like anyone made physical contact with him. A little consistency ffs.

Also if you look at the 2 min mark, someone please tell me what Bellamy got a yellow for?

Just another good rest for Suarez while he can get ready for City match. Couldn't be better. I actually dont bother about that given that he had been poor, exhausted in recent games. Time for Bellamy, Maxi, Carrol to prove their worth.

now that's absolutely bad refereeing I have to say.

I'm assuming Bellamy got the yellow for his involvement in starting the fight with Dempsey? seemed like he said something after tackling Dempsey. could be could not. i'm not sure as well.

me too doh.gif

i think carroll can shine when the absent of suarez coz the other players will keep passing to him when the ball near box... before most of the ball will give to suarez when it come to upfront...

just my theory rolleyes.gif

I think we shouldn't rely on one player as the pivotal point of our attack. But no doubt if Carroll plays without Suarez he will get more passes compared when Suarez plays. Saying that, the team shouldn't (for pete's sake no) keep pumping the ball up to Carroll.

However I am sure everyone is hoping that Carroll can step up. Well he should. He has got one of the best teams behind him.

Carroll, if you can here me, the cake is within your reach. Get up from your sofa and chase it. Please, please, please. laugh.gif

Rotuham, I would advise you not to post any further in their thread. This is for your own sake. In before they report you for trolling despite the fact that you are just stating the fact.

Plus, there is no point arguing with them. I had my own fair share of laugh reading those posts.

" Evra could well sue your club" x 1000 times...

Funnily may I ask What do you know about law? What elements needed to establish the defamation? You do not know anything and You merely pointed this out because you read an article from goal.com( if i am not mistaken) whereby the lawyer said Evra can sue.

Can sue is one thing, winning it is another. He could sue anytime he wants to but what are the chances of winning? If Evra can win this easily, he would have take an action but he didn't and it's obvious why it is so.

Being in the legal field myself, I would say that's plain stupidity to bring such an action. What is credibility have to do with a footballer's career? Plus that credibility things was released by FA 2 years back and LFC just quoted it.

If you happen to be Evra's fren, please ask him to sue. I would gladly take out my popcorn and see the outcome. laugh.gif

Thanks for the advice.I guess you are right. You'll get more sense out of a wall than from their bunch. He couldnt fight my point head on and instead beat around the bush by bringing in other stuff. They are really desperate to find a liverpool fan to trash out their nonsense.Suddenly, the elite guy brought up the racism case when i didnt even intend to talk about it.Funny enough i dont see their thoughts on the kick racism out thread.

That boxsystem guy got the audacity to come here all the time and pinpoint people's mistakes when his club and fans are full of fault.Their arguments lack substance and jumps from one topic to another.

Everyday you can see them taking a dig at us sarcastically like innocent one, racist, bestest team, bestest fan, liverfools, losers, team justice. At times their whole page is dominated by discussion about us.Now they are taking the higher ground and condemning us for holier than thou attitude.Whatever happens,i dont think they will dare quote me again.Or else the next time around it will be no holds barred. Not a big deal if i get permaban.

the king need to fix the current issue with discipline. i don't really care if the whole world say the FA is being hard on the club. At the first place, if the player behave on field the is not much the opponent can do to pick us.

Suarez need to watch his attitude on the field for all i care. he may b targeted. Bellamy may be targeted too. if someone know he is targeted, he should be more careful instead of going all out to proof the world is against him. These people are paid insane amount of money PER WEEK. some people don;t even make tat much in a year what they make in a week, so i seriously think instead of wearing t-shirt and fighting "injustice", get on with business. This is a football club, not a legal firm or some NGO. another point is putting on the t-shirt give the press something to write about. geez....

These guys know they are in England and the press there will make a meal out of anything to sell the paper. Suarez been outstanding but he got some attitude problem. I believe whatever printed on paper somehow sway the judgement. so get on with life people, start scoring and stop making the wrong headline.

Even Bolton in the relegation score more than us. We got the lowest conversion rate. what we got is discipline headline. not really cool. I don't remember when was last we have so much discipline issue in the public eyes.

Spurs and Arsenal have been the two team on frantic buy before the dateline. Both have issue just before the season kickoff. Modric saga, Arsenal exodus and getting hammered early in the season. Where are both club now???

I don't think getting to the top is realistic for a while but getting into CL is priority for us. looking at the rate we are playing, we are again in a mini league to get into CL.
