new lens, you gotta mount it on a camera, make sure AF, VR, all the switches work, no funy sound, Af speed up to specs. Unless the lens is in a sealed vaccum packed packaging, then no need to check.....nvr came across any camera stuff in vaccum packaging before.....

i believe HK has int'l warranty, maybe you can just call nikon malaysia and act like you from HK or studied there, just talk like Andy Lau slang , and ask if your HK set has warranty here

Anyone with D7k that has backfocus problem? if yes, what's the remedy, send it back to Nikon or DIY ?

if i saw it right, hambone has some PW stuff in their showroom, not sure what model though was browsing around that time

maybe can go there and bargain with the fotokem people.......tell them better sell your d7000 cheap cheap before new camera comes out ......looks like they are kinda desperate for sales these fotkem people......

if you are really realy really afraid your beloved camera won't be able to take the weather abuse , i would suggest you DON'T take it to Korea.

get a point and shoot with lots of SDcards, snap 1000-2000 pictures, bring them home , use photoshop edit mask and be happy with your results.....you happy, your camera happy, we all happy.......kapish?

if you still not happy, you can always book a flight to korea again, this time in the warm weather where you can take your dslr with you.........

did you use liveview to take this shot? i read some owners faced this problem of hotpixels when using liveview, or maybe perhaps your ISO is maxed and seems alot of noise. Maybe you can look at your settings and data.

But if you have this all of the time suggest you make alot of noise at the SC and make them change your sensor, treaten to take your case to consumer tribunal court if they give excuses......

d5100 body only =1900-2100
35mm f/1.8G = 850-950
filter 52mm = 75-150

im guessing you didn't survey the prices before you bought it, unless there's something else in the package you bought you didn't mention, i'd say the it's really expensive

i might be letting mine go....

300-400, depending on your luck, bundle it with a filter to get more value or sell it as it is. if you cant sell it at that price, don't sell it, keep it as spare as you may need it someday.....

p.s. dont spoil market and sell it cheap !

35mm f/1.8 is the DX lens? if you go FX, you'll definitely sell all of the DX lenses
35mm is light to carry, you may never know when you need it
