Pertama Complex is not to far away from Ampang Park. You should also check out Lucky Sports Trading. Opened by ex-national player Tay Kee.

My relative also did mention this shop in pertama complex but for me the issue going there is parking and the traffic.. In term of prices, my relative said that most of his officemates buy equipment from this shop

QUOTE(Sean.Ng @ Feb 16 2015, 11:46 AM)
Is Pj Union open during CNY?
And for Amcorp mall is the shop still open?
And are all of them even open during CNY?
Sorry for asking:(
*
I'm 100 percent sure that all small traders are closed during CNY,but forget about amcorp dude because they only carry tibhar blades and 2 or 3 butterflies. Best is go to PJ union after CNY

For sharing purposes, before purchasing my blade I had several sites I visited for notes:
www.tabletennisdb.com
http://www.presports.com/
http://www.q-sports.asia/
http://www.tenryu.com.my/store/

Goodluck, do share drills of the new bat once you bought it wink.gif

I only have some basics drilled into me. At Union, I'm considered one of the lousier players. I won't be able to play properly for a while due to my bad knee. If you guys intend to go there, do go in a group. People there may seem unfriendly at first but don't be shy to ask for a match with the people there. Almost all are at state levels or higher.

Dear Steve and Sze,

Say after CNY, would you be interested in joining me and my colleague to form a small group to play at PJUNION? There's also a chance that my wife will join too for the TT session. If you guys are up for it, I'll PM you my number so we could easily coordinate meets there.

Catch up with you guys later, take care

It's a carbon bat but you can expect it to be slightly softer than most carbon blades. Which also means that it's harder than your current wooden blade. It's a blade that can do everything that your hand controlling the blade can do. Expect it to be on the heavier side though.

Let's go ufaiq, steven and zeroblaze. After CNY and we go PJ Union. At most, I represented my school during my school days more than 20 years ago. I picked up TT recently because TT is safer than badminton, less injuries.

I have no problems with basic stroke. I played with Kuntilanak at PJ Union once. He is better than me. Met Uncle Ting at PJ Union playing with young ones. One of the outstanding player I met there used penhold and very very good with reverse backhand.

I am overweight, may have problems with stamina though.... sad.gif

That's great news, don't worry buddy we're pretty much at the same level of fitness. I could no longer play basketball because my knees could not take it, so have taken the liking to play TT and I do agree it is a lot safer than other sports.

To recap head count, we have more or less about 5 to 6 players will join PJUNION once it opens after CNY. Appreciate everyone to PM me their numbers so we could start a whatsapp group for easy arrangement.

Hope everyone is ok that we play on Mondays from 7-10, will definitely wait for further feedback. Cheers!

Never underestimate the kids capability in taking up table tennis. They can quickly picking up the skills. That said, iPong expert robot is for beginners. The kids can over power the robot in very short period of time. If you really wanted to support them, why not get a better unit?
1. Y&T V989E
2. Y&T V989G

Y&T V989G can be used for advance players in fact. I know because I have it.
