I suggest 16 ppl , make it 4 group with 4 ppl..round robin system n select 2 highest mark get into next stage draw lot n continue with knockout system or round robin(this might take some times) ?

(ROUND ROBIN SYSTEM)

Winner : 2 mark
Lose : 1 mark

If same mark we will calculate by MATCH n POINT.

4 GROUP WITH 4 PPL(ROUND ROBIN)= 24 GAME
(DRAW LOT)
8 KNOCKOUT = 7 GAME
24 + 7 = 31 GAME

5 GROUP WITH 3 PPL(ROUND ROBIN) = 15 GAME
5 (ROUND ROBIN) = 15 GAME
15 + 15 = 30 GAME

(ROUND ROBIN SYSTEM)

4 GROUP WITH 4 PPL(ROUND ROBIN)= 24 GAME

8 KNOCKOUT = 7 GAME

5 (ROUND ROBIN) = 15 GAME
15 + 15 = 30 GAME
*
4 group of round robin, is it enough time?
i assume it is really 30 game, i assume each game only 3 set with straight win, means around 93sets, if divide by 3 table, means 31 sets have to run on par, i assume every sets only takes 5min, means around 155mins, which need at least 2.5 hours with non stop. i am afraid it can't be done in 1 day. coz normal tournament with this kind of round robin system at least need 2 days with long hour.

It takes about 3 hours to finish 31 games with 3 tables(Estimated).Depend on how many player ,I'll try to arrange for the best system.

I suggest 4 group with 4 player because i dowan player that knockout early in (RR) leave,at least spend about 30minutes time stay n watch until the game end.

5 group with 3 player , those who knockout only played for 2 GAME n if they wanted to know whose the champion , they need to watch the following for 15 GAMES (1 hour +) until the game end.
