Cove bikes only for adults.
Imagine... the son asks the father "Pa, I want a hooker. This hooker damn good one. No matter how hard you ride it, it will still perform top class. And if not, can you give me a handjob? |

@timothyy: I don't ride on road anymore. I stopped cycling a few months ago. But I do head to FRIM occasionally (once in 2 months?).

QUOTE(Mike3300 @ Dec 2 2011, 04:44 PM) Sorry, I mean where to find single chainring cranks that can fit in chainguides and eliminates front derailleur. Like those downhill bikes. What you're looking for is a chain retention device. To avoid dropped chains?Besides from the chainguards like MRP's and E13's, you can also work with a a sandwiched guards. I have a bashguard installed where the outer chainring used to be as well a granny guard where the granny ring used to be. A singlespeed chainring (without shift ramps on it) like E13, Raceface, Chromag A proper length chain will also minimized dropped chains. If you're running single chainring upfront, you should also be using a short cage derailleur. Two rings upfront, mid cage. 3 rings... Long cage. |

Damn... After typing long long oni I notice you're asking for cranks! LOL...
Like Abang Reza said, it's more of a frame issue. There's ISCG, ISCG5 and BB mount type of chainguides. Choose the one that fits your frame. It should not interfere with the crank movement I believe. |

yes kaizer, single speed chainring is what I'm looking for. I figure not to put my T-Bolt to waste, thinking of changing to a single speed chainring, keeping it light as possible. Abang Reza said before about the frame's bottom bracket type, it should be BB mount type.
It's hard to look for BB mount type chainguides though. |
