any online sites for reference beside mwf?

Ebay/mudah/Passions might be a good place to try.

Time Pacific (BSC, Fahrenheit88) might also have some Subs lying around.

no, not cos its a Tissot.

I just wanted something that is automatic, not too thick 11mm at most and case diameter less than 38mm if possible.

and of course leather strap.

may I get the name of the watch for the one shown in the pic?

the tissot specs wise is marginally thinner than the orient star, but looking at them both the orient star looks thinner cos it has less case as the domed crystal makes up the rest of the thickness specs.

for around rm1.4k before discount...you can also look at the german watches with jap movements like this zeppelin.
http://www.pointtec.de/zeppelin/7360-1/

seiko premier also has one - http://www.thongsia.com.my/content/product...rid=22&pid=1948

anyway, i find those open heart designs kinda fugly...so yea...i would also consider either the orient star or tissot tongue.gif

Added on November 1, 2012, 5:09 pmoh yea...1 thing i dont like about the tissot is the day / date and how much of the dial it takes up until it almost reaches the center.
