QUOTE(LOLmama @ Mar 12 2012, 04:49 PM) mind if I ask for a recommendation on a watch with a budget of only RM200? seiko 5s, got so many metal strap ones for rm199 and below.I prefer those with metal straps and not resin ones, don't want those kind of mat rempit neon ish watches, but prefer those more sleek ones. all the classic lookin ones like this. ![]() |

snatch thieves? just be street smart enough.
ppl see any shiny stuff, they wont care if its a rolex or whatever. they'll just whack, take anything, sell off for rm50 also they happy, as long as they get their next fix. |

QUOTE(adkins981 @ Mar 13 2012, 06:39 PM) yeah, sometimes they would not take the chance to rob if its some shiny cheap item, it just isn't worth.. the common thieves obviously wont know if its a genuine item or not, no one here can probably tell if it is from far either.so again, they will just take from u...if its not genuine...too bad for them and obviously too bad for u too...but for the thieves there is always another victim round the corner for them. shiny or not, if ur not street smart, u will get it if ur in the wrong place at the wrong time. ppl wear slippers also can kena at the wrong place at wrong time as for snatch thieves...u think they got x-ray machine can see whats inside handbags? they dont selectively take, they just take as many as they can and to them its like goodie bags...never know whats inside until its open... |

QUOTE(khopl @ Mar 27 2012, 01:39 AM) Hey fellas, http://www.russia2all.com/vostok-europe-ru...er-2432011.htmlI'm looking to get a piece of watch that's reliable and durable enough to last me a while. It doesn't matter if its a mechanical or quartz....just as long as its able to keep decently accurate time. However I'd prefer (not a must) to have these: - sapphire crystal (eveb better with AR) - min 44mm diameter - day & date display - min 10atm WR - great lume I've been eyeing the Luminox 1879 Black Out but haven't much clue about them apart from the mixed reviews gathered from the internet. But I gotta say they seem pretty okay from the specs ...plus they claimed to be built as 'tough as nails'...and I really like the fact that the lume is definitely not gonna be a problem. But what would be your thoughts on the Luminox? And does anyone know roughly how much this model costs? Well, apart from this, I'm sure there are many other brands/models worth considering when I'm looking to get the most out of RM1.5K - 2K. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated guys...looking fwd to your inputs...thanks!! its not sapphire, just mineral. but its 46mm, with tritium tubes. iirc, around rm1.5-1.6k. has a few other color options, but i find that black / red one the best looking. i chose the 9000 cos its something u can wear to the beach etc without worrying about fine sand getting in between the buttons and body.
