student here, now looking for a watch around rm400+- for a start, currently wearing a casio aw-80 ( i know, cheap wink.gif ) when most of my friends go for guess and fossil, i prefer something better than just a designer name. i want a price with quality.

so guys, what can i get with that price? im looking for a brown leather band, medium size with date function if possible.

More likely an entrepreneur student smile.gif For rm400, i suggest better Casio modals, citizen, seiko and orient. I think these non fashion based japanese watch fit ur into budget nicely.

thanks ill have a look. other than japanese brand? looking for swiss-made
lol im just a normal student, it is just that i hate wasting money for something with no quality, like i said senselessly paying for guess or quiksilver watches for a pvc strap is not me. i rather save up for a couple of months for something worth it.

400 for a swiss watch? The first thing that comes to mind is Swatch. Other entry level swiss brands e.g. Tissot start at around twice your current budget so you may have to reconsider. Or else go the Japanese route biggrin.gif

Agree. no point paying for those fancy dial and case which will fade after few months.

I think you can only buy Swatch with rm400 for true blood swiss watch. Other swiss brands are above rm1k. For those claimed to be swiss watches like cima, where the company started in swiss (i think) and now owns by hongkie, are about rm400 too.

Stowa (metal can always change) and ask u to check page 1 post 1.
Can help stowa insist on quality and avoid high production. For limited edition release 2yrs ago iirc ppl are still waiting for them! they are in big demand.
there is a growing cult in this region.

all the under 38mm watch that I know of and swiss is posted there.
if they are no go, then do give us more details.
