Is it me or in the new iOS 5.1, the camera shortcut does give you access into your personal photo album, rather than restricting you to only view the photo that you just took?

QUOTE(andrewyulm @ Mar 8 2012, 07:56 PM) i'm sorry to say this, but just telling you guys fyi la okay Mine also like this before ive upgrade it this isn't good to me, cause i'm on 5.0.1 with jb and i charge it to 100% at about 2am, and unplugged it and left into standby and the next day it was 100% with 7hours, 23minutes standby and 19minutes usage on 3G but with push notifications and location services tweaked to only use those that are important to me, im guessing that helps a bit? |

iPhone 4 Baseband 4.11.08 Owners Do Not Update To iOS 5.1
Are you one of those users who are waiting for the unlock on iPhone 4 baseband 4.11.08? If yes then do not update to iOS 5.1 as it will get more difficult for you to get your iPhone 4 unlocked. More details after the jump. As you might already be aware that iPad 3 has been launched and with it Apple has introduced many other features and one of these features is the new iOS 5.1. Which is available to download right now for your iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. Well as we had previously mentioned that Apple has brought a new baseband on iOS 5.1, namely 4.12.00. Which as numbers give out is a higher version compared to modem firmware 4.11.08 (baseband) and as it is on a higher level it gets harder to unlock. So basically in more simply words; if you update to iOS 5.1 on a locked iPhone, well say goodbye to your iPhone for a couple of more months. And as you might already know it is getting harder and harder to unlock iPhone so your iPhone will be gone for a quite a long time. Those of who want to maintain your jailbreak status, do not update to iOS 5.1 as you will lose your untethered jailbreak. Especially for those A5 owners (iPhone 4S, iPad 2) as developing a jailbreak for these devices will take a few more weeks. Apple normally improves baseband and patches up exploit whenever it updates its firmware and it is a normal thing to NOT update as soon as it is released. updated my iPhone 4s thru iTunes, the file is quite big i think 800++ mb.
Battery significantly improves, only during first hour. Usually when i disconnect after 100% charged it will only last less than hour if i make few calls and whatsapp. But it still showed 100% after one hour. i think it can be considered good already. iCloud on, notifications on, Siri On, 3G on, wifi and bluetooth OFF. After few minutes on FB, and whatsapp, the batt back to normal drain already. Damn it. I don't really care anyway, because i get used to it. I don't want to disable everything on the smartphone, I'd rather charge it often than to lose some smartphone functions. If disable everything better use nokia 3310 instead. So guys, don't hope too drastic battery life with this 5.1 update. My only solution to battery drain problem is simple, get used to it. Get a car charger or mobile batteries or whatnots. My friend on Galaxy S2 also tell me the same thing her battery won't last a day, but people seems to make a big fuss because it's Apple. My blackberry which don't even have a quarter of iPhone apps can only last barely a day. If i don't use BBM. So if iPhone battery can only last a day with loads of apps to use, i think it's a good deal already. I think the best feature to increase battery life is the 3G toggle switch. but digi at my place sucks, so i have to switch it ON. Tomorrow will test with whatsapp not in use and very brief FB browsing. gonna update here for you guys |
