I agree, the building is quite nice looking and looks attractive to me. Right now the weakest link in SG is the fencing only.

KUALA LUMPUR: Ekovest Bhd expects its property development division to keep the company busy next year with three main projects to be launched in the Klang Valley.

Ekovest’s principal business activities are the provision of civil engineering services, building works and investment holding.

Its managing director, Lim Keng Cheng, said the three main projects, the Eco Business Park in Cheras, The Gateway@KL Bund in Setapak and Menara Titiwangsa in Kuala Lumpur, had a gross development value of RM4.8bil.
He said given the existing robust property market in the Klang Valley, the property development activities were expected to contribute positively to the group’s performance.

“We’ve just set up the property development division. As our company’s financial ended June 30, 2012, we expect the division to start contributing to the company’s revenue by financial year 2014,” he said.

Lim said the company’s construction projects in the Iskandar region were ongoing and were expected to be completed by the end of the current financial year.

“We are cautiously optimistic that with the long-term presence in the Iskandar region and the coming on stream of various mega projects under the Economic Transformation Programme, the group would be able to secure construction works from both private and government sectors,” Lim said. — Bernama

building itself is not nice IMHO. why>? look at the roof there the setup mcm cheap low cost flat PPR, should have some sky garden. even no sky garden pun takpa at least plan some trees and etc to make it look good. i believe once 288 is up, it beats all 222/SG etc etc.

out of so many big developer, UOA is the only developer that dun fancy FB punya so no point finding their FB
even if they have and u taruh @ their wall, they will immediately remove it

best is during launchiong of new project go there buat hal say ur project use paria cheap fencing

the most TL thing is when the SA told u. u r UOA purchasers for other earlier projects why are u making a fuss on chain fencing now but not the previous proijects.

erm. my suggestion is we don;'t leave an option to UOA.

Reason = look at the current setup of the chain link fencing. they think this secure and nice. i propose we sendiri discuss and dtermined what kind of design is nice and suitab le to match the overall then only tell them our decision.

600-650 psf? 2 options
1)keep and wait until it appreciate and do nothing (will b byk slow)

2)do something
a)revamp the chain link
b)take away the entire garden next to swimming pool and change it to (propose ony)
  - squash court
  - basket ball court
  - tennis court
  - badminton court
  - expand the gym the current gym is superb small and only facing pool, make it facing pool and KLCC+ facing the squash court, basketball court, tennish court,badminton court
c) revamp the parking plaza roof garden to make something way much better such as SKY VIEWING DECK with seating cabana or sky walk!'
d) add the actual SKY ROOF TOP GARDEN @ Level 26
f) restrict access to each level and each wing EXCEPT to level 1,3,5 for the direct link bridge
g) modify the stamping concrete to better pool deck etc deck
h)put jacuzzi + change the lap pool to cascading infinity pool

anyway just suggest ony dun think this can be realized.

if UOA can do the same chain link fence on much more expensive park residence at bangsar south, i dont think they will change to brick wall fence for setapak green...

but i think it's not really big issue, at least the building itself look nice, full tiles on common area, nice lighting...

the next thing can be done is the residents should work together on management, and in few years time when collect enough sinking fund, then can propose to rebuilt the fence wall with better material..cheer up guys...

Okay, now only I know that the one I passed-by so many times up the sales gallery, that's The Park.

After visited it again, I wouldn't call it excellent the fencing, but I find it I can convince myself some more, it's different concept & so far acceptable, only the privacy thingy SG has wider public exposure, because SG is a standalone building (on the good side: it means exclusive) and more nearby to roadside. However, I find myself more relief now.
Anyway, personally, I still think that the swimming pool & playground (and I think it's too small the playground) area must be fenced up with brick wall.

Other than that, the main gate car entrance area, it'll create a different class feel if that can be paved with brick flooring. (now I'm using iPad, I'll upload the photo tomorrow).

I hope SG can keep improving down the road after VP.
