Direct selling air purifier are just overpriced good product. Atmosphere claims their HEPA filter is that loooong. When I pull out my Sharp's I laughed. And their ad in youtube is comparing their huge filter with small competitor model.

Choose wisely. Don't let ads or other gimmick get you to pay through your nose. What u actually need. How big is your room? What do u want to achieve?

What I need is only a certified HEPA and Charcoal filter, to filter out most dust/mites and odour. I don't need 100% clean air or all other gimmick (and pay thousands more). Humidifier is never need in my house as even with a/c running my room humidity is only 45-50% which is around the ideal humidity.

So I got myself 2 Sharps. But Sharps replacement and after sales service sucks! Anyway, the newer model's filter can last 10 years. Happy with them smile.gif

Frankly. Not much choice in Malaysia.

Hi All,

I am having the same doubts in choosing the best suited air purifier for myself, so I did some online survey and came across this very informative write up. Hope it helps you in deciding your unit.

hi guys,

i'm thinking to get a purifier for 1 purpose only. to reduce the smoke/purify the air as much as I can, from those smokes from the jossticks that my family burned for chinese gods praying.

So would be good if you guys can give me some tips.

Medklinn Asens - I have one of these, but is faulty. I can get it fixed by paying RM100 to recharge it (according to Medklinn). But I read the review that it actually released many ions. i know it smells like waterfall, but will this neutralized the smoke from those jossticks?

If can't, then I'm thinking between sharp air purifier or amway Atmosphere air purifier. I know these have HEPA filters and other sort of filters, so I am assuming that these smokes will be sucked into the purifier and then cleaner air will be produced?

Do hope to hear from you all soon.

Thanks.

want to ask, is air purifier able to remove those humid in the air? i mean now my room humid until got mold (yellow/white spot) in some corner, and the wall can see the uneven white layer since my wall is in blue paint.

and some paper box in the room also getting worst, like some yellow spot and etc.

or have to use dehumidifier?

by the way i stay in apartment, and my room has enough sunlight every morning.
