I was searching for a ventilation fan solution to suck outside air in, with PM2.5 filter in the past but not avail.
Until today, I discovered Xiaomi is selling the exact product that I wanted.

Xiaomi Fresh Air Ventilator
https://www.mi.com/fresh-air-ventilator/

The outside air can be extracted through wall or window.

RRP of RM1.7k I would say consider high for me.
Xiaomi official site selling around RM1.5k.
RM900 to RM1k would be reasonable for me.

Looking at the description of the xiaomi air exchanger, seems like its design for high rise building in China?
Double story house in Malaysia has many holes for air ventilation already.
Btw not cheap weh, 2500rmb.

this requires to bore a big hole on the wall. not practical for us imho

I didn't use clorox. I used BIO-D insect orbit and bed bug spray on the walls, it does not work as expected. I end up sticking them with sticker which is faster dry.gif
I am still monitoring the mites number after using BIO-D ..

Noticed Panasonic higher end air purifier FVXK70A filter is stated to last around 10 years where regular vacuum of the filter is sufficient.

Other lower end model filter is around 2 years life. Anyone using this model? Would like to know the filter replacement price?

Don't think there is any under RM2k for coverage of 1000sqft. You will need two big ones that can cover around 400-500sqft each, or three medium ones that can cover around 300-400sqt.

Xiaomi Air Purifier 2S i think covers around 400sqft, at below RM700 each. You can get three and still be under RM2000. Heard it is quite a decent product. Have not tried it myself though. Using Blueair Classic 205 for living room and an old Panasonic small unit for room. Considering to get a Xiaomi air purifier...

HEPA and odor filter can only be replaced, vacuuming it doesn't really help to clean.

Old sharp model has washable carbon filter
Winix (Korean brand) still has washable carbon filter
