Can anyone recommends a house air purifier? Budget around RM1.5k+ with HEPA filter.. I'm thinking to get from Panasonic... Any recommendations or other brands?

Panasonic F-PXL45A
Panasonic F-PXM55A

This two have HEPA filter, and should be true HEPA filter because they advertised as "removing 0.3um particles up to 99.97%".

yep, it does show the days left to change filter.
info like PM2.5 value & room temperature revealed in the app too.
other setting/ automation function haven't explore much yet.

From my opinion, this xiaomi airpurifier 2 is just mid-range air purifier (I read the China lab report about comparison of air purifiers in their market, at least xiaomi didnt put on false claim about its air purifier performance). Although it is not the best but it does its job with affordable price. Of course there is another high range xiaomi air purifier Pro version that cost 1k.

Mind to share the link to the report?

Hi guys,
I planing to get an air purifier for my room
My room is close to the toilet, sometime will have bad odour

Was wondering is the air purifier can help with the odour?
*
I would suggest to fix the source of the odour, rather than us air purifier to workaround it.

1) You need to seal off the door and window complete.

2) Find a ventilation fan that blow in instead blow out. With Filter. To create a positive pressure so the dust not sucking in.

3) Air filter if neccessary.
*
I was searching for a ventilation fan solution to suck outside air in, with PM2.5 filter in the past but not avail.
Until today, I discovered Xiaomi is selling the exact product that I wanted.

Xiaomi Fresh Air Ventilator
https://www.mi.com/fresh-air-ventilator/

The outside air can be extracted through wall or window.

Nice. Got English ver. Xiaomi? Can't understand the website.

Normally such ventilator called air exchanger. I think airgard have such system.

In the west or Japan, they use centralize system which install on top ceiling. The system have suck and blow for each room.
*
I think so far only Xiaomi china got such device, and their website is on Chinese only.
Maybe google translator can help.

Looks nice, but is the price consider high?
*
RRP of RM1.7k I would say consider high for me.
Xiaomi official site selling around RM1.5k.
RM900 to RM1k would be reasonable for me.
