ya, not so efficient. even my ionizer 1 also same. sucking dust seems not the main function for the air filter.

Hey Sifu,
Thinking of putting air purifier into a tuition centre, i've few questions in mind, hope someone could enlighten me and thanks in advance !

Area: The area around 22 ft and many students
Purpose: Ventilation

1. What are the brand is reliable ? it must have HEPA certified ?

2. Do we need humidifier function in air purifier ?

3. What are the criteria for a good air purifier ?

4. How to decide a suitable model ? I saw Coway and cuckoo brand, it selling quite expensive, i wonder must buy the expensive model to serve it purpose ?

5. If doesn't turn on aircond, does the air purifier work ?

What task that you wish the air filter can deliver?
If to increase humidity in an aircond room, no need spend any cent. Just place a bucket of water in the centre will do.

If your centre is easily get dusty every day, then my advice would be to get a cleaner to regularly vacuum and clean the area.
You don't need air purifier already.

For air purifier, 2 main criteria you need to consider.
1. CADR, clean air delivery rate. It determine how effective in providing clean air in a period of time.
2. The HEPA, micron size. The size of the gap that the viruses and bacteria that will be trap here. The smaller size the better because those harmful ones has really small size in micron. You can check in google.

My 2 cents. Hope it helps.
