Don't go overdose on widgets. Also, a lot of folks tend to forget to LOCK their desktop, leaving the ADW configurator open, thus running continually in the background.

No lag on mine, and I tax it heavily with 3D UI, Multi Live Wallpaper that changes every 1 hour. The key is to properly set icon size/text, and pick widgets properly. The very reason why I picked transparent widgets is so that they eat less system resource because of their singular color scheme. Better if you reduce the transparency and opaqueness of the Launcher to almost zero, but that gives you a black/white scheme, not colors.

try do the sensor test.. it seems our sgnote are equipped with altimeter.. cool.. the barometer also come with thermometer.. now need to find the software that utilize this sensors. got any suggestion?

guys.. i noticed that standard "messaging" apps can't send sms to multiple recipient more than 10 contacts is it?

can we change that?

Its a tad laggyish but not as bad as what i experienced. I put much more widgets than u tho i think and i use a lot of desktop visualiser which is quite heavy. Perhaps thats why. Just cant live without desktop visualiser lol. I still love adw and i have a similar 3d look u have in my tablet but it just doesnt feel right on my note. Iandscape is fine but for my note i want it portrait. If u looking for home replacement id still recommend adw over others tho.

Oh for those who dont know kongregate is a website to play flash games for free on yiur device. Need internet of cuz. U can see the widget in my screenshot can get from market.

Also i bought deepend live wallpaper which works awesome on the note.

finaly able to root my Note.
was using spare usb cable to connect to the Note during process, but keep fail.

after try few computer, then decided to use samsung cable then one time done.

dont know any different between samsung usb cable and spare usb cable from shop.

Many cables look the same but have different number of pins inside. Usually can definitely charge. To sync or read data however requires a certain number of pins. There are many times. Exterior all look the same. Dont ask me how many pins ours i dunno lol

so can u share which rom and kernel is good for u? in term of lag fix?

Try Barometer HD. It's a simple app with not much resonance/interest to the general public unless you're a meteorologist or aviator. One fun experiment you might be interest to try is when you get on board a place, try this app and see what your cabin altitude your plane is current flying at. OR if you're the adventurous type, use it to check your pressure altitude when your hiking up Mt.Everest.

I know my plane goes up to between 4,000ft-8,400ft cabin altitude depending on cruising level.

ok. after installed Green Power and try for one day, it managed to help me to last more than 12 hours since 7:30am unplug power.

i am a heavy user, keep wifi online all the time, yesterday same usage, i need to charge my note around 3-4pm at noon time.

today can last until i back home with 15% battary left.

Oh ic... i tried it and dont really like it... It's like not very good for this screen in portrait mode.. is there any other way to solve this auto off problem? Do i need to send back to Samsung for warranty ??

White colour the back gloss or ridged like black. Sgs2 white was gloss fingerprint and scratch magnet and slipery

Did you try and change around the settings? If you don't change it, and keep it at stock, it'll look weird coz it's set up for mostly smaller screen Android phones.

Otherwise try Go Launcher.
