Dammit! I can't seem to find good good players in FM2k6..

anyway in my previous FM2005 game, i always play a few season then i will know who is good...example i saw chelsea buy vilakazi in FM 2005 then in my new game i find him and voila, good player...etc...;p how is my favourite keeper in Fm 2005, sebastian saja? he was a worldclass GK in FM2005.. |

Try gettin Leo Messi from Barca. He's pretty young and rather cheap. His stats are almost like Ronaldinho but his value is way lower den Ronaldinho's. He scored 17 times in 25 matches including a Hat-trick against RM. Other talented and young wonderkids are: Valeri Bojinov,Cristiano Ronaldo,Arjen Robben,Carlos Tevez,Wayne Rooney and Fernando Cavenaghi.

well that is what forummers at SI are saying wow blasi is so cheap ar? nice in fm2005 ARSEnal will surely buy him for 20M in all my games leo messi's shown price is of course very low but its actually quite high coz some ppl tried to buy him but have to offer very high prices |

wei , there is a CHEAT training ? everything is on intensive but below is very light training so they wont injured or over train, but stats go up like mad! who need it I got it with me....let me know i dunno how to upload ler 1kb oni the file!! so here no need so trouble for training! but u need at least 30 to 35 coach! I mean at least 6 coach handle one session of training.
For ppl looking for defenders, Radoi from Romania with 19 influence is a damn good player to get. Cheap as well around 3m to 5m. Wendell from Brazil also dang good, Fred from Lyon also must get! |

on my 2nd season with tottenham, i declared interest and bid for him. it got rejected though. he (tevez) said that he would be keen to join tottenham and got angry with his manager because he rejected my bid, so he refused to sign a new contract. tevez's contract expires on 13th jan. 07 so thats when i signed him. the thing is i was shocked no other clubs were interested in him!

I played in the English Championship league... all the wonderkids and great players don't interested to come to my club... so i bought Craig Gordon (GK), Baseggio (MC), Scorza (SC), Dusan Djuric (MC), Ronald Gutierrez (M/DC)... all considered quite cheap and quite good... hope I can survive the first season managing Leeds.
Oh, I heard some ppl trying to find left winger... try yury zhirkov but he's damn expensive, around 14 mil. |

hei.. i just started playing FM2006.. and i am using chelsea now.. no i am not a chelsea supporter.. i only use them cause of their immense amount of cash.. haha.. 1st season squandered my transfer kitty away... all 150 million.. woohoo.. 80mil for torres.. 30mil for teves.. 20mil for kompany.. 10mil for kim kallstrom... 10mil for zokoro.. and i sold del horno, gallas (cause he dont trust a inexperience manager), selling crespo (no one wants him.. wonder why).. sold ferriera.. sold eidur.. bridge was shown the door.. running at a very high expenditure every week due to high wage demand from teves and kompany... zokoro is my top performer.. average a rating of 8 every match.. i think i got close 15 coaches..

no need to cheat in training lar, just separate the list and make different charts for strikers, defenders, and midfielders enough lor... then assign them separately... once in a month set them back to General training chart for a week

for strikers Podolski and Torres is very reliable... but Podolski signed with this appearance fee : 16.75K per match... blahdee hell... Fernando Torres i bought for 85 million when A.Madrid dowan to let him go all the time... Damn dangerous in front of the goal... Here are some good buys that never fails me..

aihhh my Lampard useless this season.. all penalty also miss... better let sneijder take them after he fully healed... lampard only scored 2 goal in 11 games... cacated... but Essien damn ganas in CL... 35 yards strike twice in a game...

dude... i just finished the season and Kompany was voted 2nd behind Duff (1st) for European Champions Cup best player... a constant 8-9-8-9 and clears the box without mistakes unlike Gallas and the rough Carvalho

should buy Torres if you have the money... try pairing him up with any good old birds in the first season... i paired him up with Crespo... both scored around 60+ goals... then Crespo got injured and i paired him with either Drogba, as a lone striker, or Drogba-C.Cole-Torres combination (Sandwich Tactic)
Sandwich Tactic: 3DC, 1DM, 2WB, 1AMC, 3ST... but you need a very strong team of DC and DM to pull it off Now thats why i buy Carignano trying to pair him up with Torres cos Carignano's profile sez 'dubbed the next Hernan Crespo' lol This post has been edited by Acey: Jan 10 2006, 03:37 AM |

Here's how my 2 new strikers doing.
- Cesar Carignano. His stats like crap only compared to Torres but he scored 6 goals in 3 games for me. 4 against Southampton, and 1 each against Portsmouth & Charlton. - Diego Tardelli. Tireless striker. He came on as sub against Portsmouth & scored 2 goals within 2 minutes. Poor Torres n Crespo.. only scored 2 goals each. Drogba & Carlton Cole never been on the field. |

drogba n carlton cole most of the time only help opponent's keeper raise their ratings...
... but Cole also score a lot of goals against rivals... i remember 2 against MU... one from the penalty box of my own area !! |

Isshhh... getting those potential star nowsadays are getting really hard... my scouts always told me buying this and that young player will trigger x million of compensate fee. Make me feel scare now whenever someone recommend someone is really good and I have scout first before I offer unless there is another club already put up their offer.
Btw, I dont really think the scout's comment can be trusted, I had Rosenborg in my team and his stat are really nice (I guess that's why I paid 8.5m for him) and know what, my scout told me Rosenborg have no future in his football career. After a few matches, Queiroz still telling me that Rosenborg will never get a place in the team because possess "not enough" quality. But I insist to play him to replace Rooney (actually rooney is injured for few months, ouch). And Rosenborg non stop scoring, score in every match he played. So when I check Quieroz comment again, now he told me Rosenborg is a useful member in the squad, what the heck... I guess it's true that the comment from coaches and scouts are based on the player current form rather than their potential ability, that's really sux. Now I'm thinking to sack all of my scouts and ask my club offer me a better contract... isshhh. |

they said the same thing about deisler when i got him on a free transfer most of his technical stats are good, mentally and physically not bad as well....i'm like screw whatever the coaches say and he's been doing well as a squad player |

sometimes ur assistant manager can be wrong... like Cesar Carignano dubbed the next Hernan Crespo... Baltemar Brito say the fella useless but now Carignano doing very well in both training n on the field, score more goals than Torres... I wanna sack Brito but board always dont allow him to go.. i find him useless... oredi sack 1 coach last season, this season wanna get rid of the rest of the ori bunch

Ai... now I suffering leh for my Man Utd. Grab EPL and CPL on my 1st season. Now planningt to replace the aging midfields. Want to buy Messi but Messi that cilaka asking for 90k/week, so my 1st target out. Looking for a cheaper but still a long run quality for Giggs.
Luckily manage to grab the argentinians from Corinthians. And now looking for another long run replacement for Van de Sar. Target the CSKA Moscow's Akinfeev but cannot get. Dont really think that I should spend 20m on a keeper @@ Vincent Kompany pulak kena rampas by Chelsea with 15m @#$@#$$% The price really crazy, I bet no one will pay that price for him in RL, only in game. Havent really think about replacing Scholes already got so many problems *sigh* Think I better prove myself by grabbing all the cups on 2nd season to prove who's the boss. Btw, Messi and Akinfeev really worth the buy if you are rich. Both's PA is 190+. @@ Btw, anyone has come across any other 190+ player (except Rooney and C. 1. Van Der Sar : Francisco Ochoa (my future Petr Cech) 2. Defenders: Heitinga or Deschacht (comes cheap w/ good stats) 3. Midfields: Messi, Sneijder, Manuel Blasi (first season faster buy from Juve else his stats drop like brick from sky at At.Madrid/Sevilla) 4. Strikers: Tevez (b4 Madrid buys him), Tardelli, Carignano - this guy is cheap, dubbed as the next hernan crespo, wait one season b4 bidding for him. Strikers: Tevez (b4 Madrid buys him), Tardelli, Carignano - this guy is cheap, dubbed as the next hernan crespo, wait one season b4 bidding for him. Not sure on the defenders though. Messi is definately a good buy, another youngster with PA 190+. But I have trouble landing Messi because he want a 90k/week contract :\ Sneijder not a bad alternative for Scholes. Havent come across on Blasi before. Tevez is another good buy, PA 190+ IIRC. Havent come across on others before. If got the money to spend, I recommend Podolski, again, another youngster with PA 190+. So far not much players that with 190+ though, I only know that Buffon, Akinfeev, Rooney, C Ronaldo, R Ferdinand (somewhere there), Podolski, Messi, and Tevez. |

scouts are useless, bluff thingy of the game... Carignano no future but now top scorer in EPL for his first season... RVN and my Torres also lose to him.. Manuel Blasi is the main topic for my game now, first season I cant get him, his stats was awesome, till he moved to Sevilla or At. Madrid i forgot, his stats dropped like crap now train back to normal

Akinfeev is midfielder ?? @@ I thought he is keeper ?? Btw, I do hope nobody will list down those really lesser known youngster, because their stat and PA will be randomized during you create a new game. Might be good for you but they might be fringe player to others.
A rule of thumb when buying some cheap and lesser known player, make sure the name is suggested more than 2 times by different people. |

You managing what clubs first ?? Lower league club or super rich club ?? The standard varies depends on your club standard. Like MUFC, Liverpool, Real Madrid, Inter, Milan are all class and rich clubs. So their physio's physiotheraphy are all 20. But for those lower level club, physio with 10 - 13 physiotheraphy will consider as very good already for them.

@doremon. It depends on how u like them to be. I have a mix n match genre of coaches and I only assign 1 to each type of training (the one they are best in) and the rest to lighten the workload. I have around 30+ coaches (some are not used), few same scouts just to look at player's hidden stats, 3 Asst. Managers, and 6 or so physios. Didnt bother to count them cos I see someone with that part of stats I like i just sign them.

^ lol Ass Man hahaha... they are... especially my Baltemar Britto, rating d hot prospects i bought as useless and no future in football but the terbalik thing happened (Diego Tradelli, Carlton Cole & Cesar Carignano). Wanna sack him but cannot. So far the physios whether they are doing their work or not I dont really know cos didnt compare the healing time.

somehow, alan smith is the top scorer in my team. haha. rooney was injured early in the season, so i replaced him with smith. then he went berserk, scoring so many. now that rooney has recovered, dunnoe whether to let him play a not

Management is OK but losing 1.x million every month
im bad with financial stuffs.. training is always high (arrows cant go up any further) although not all stats reach 20... you should see my Ayam Robber and Wesley Sneijder, definitely my fav winger in this current game, all from my own training schedule and the mass robbing of coaches... theres no such thing as more physio less injury as the injuries are randomly generated... now consider OK with 4 players out injured but all long term injury such as muscle tear n stuff blahhhhhThis post has been edited by Acey: Jan 17 2006, 08:53 AM |

hmm, it's really hard to get torres... i offered him up to 56k per week (tat's the limit my board of directors allow) and up to 6% increament..and he joined other team pula..ishh...

bro, Torres need around 90K per week n above, he wont settle for low fees.. you dont need those expensive ones to succeed... just get Carignano and Tardelli... Tardelli can basically outrun everyone for the whole 90+4 minutes...
GK: get Ochoa (9M) and Akinfeev DEF: 100% Vincent Kompany (10.5M for me ) or Chivu (25M), keep Carvalho, hes goodMID: buy Moutinho (14.5M), and play Schweinsteiger often, ure lucky u get him, i cant buy him, hes very good, and play Essien too Striker: Crespo keep, Guddy and Drogba sell, get Carignano and Tardelli If you wanna spend that type of money on Adriano, i'd rather spend 100M on Rooney cos I found Rooney to be very consistent in scoring compared to Adriano. I dont think you can get them. Your manager reputation is too low to get those great players. 22mil for Adriano, you must be kidding friend. Prepare 40m to get him. I never heard anyone from the SI forum got Adriano for less than 40m. I dont think Inter is that stupid to release someone who is young with PA 190+ with just only 22m (who is also their champ in the team). In my game with MU, Chelsea offered up to 52m for C. Ronaldo when I once reject them in a 30m bid.
I think you are asking too much for your 1st season, Chelsea already full of talents to grab CPL and secure league title at the start. Why bother get so much of those players ?? In my season, I only get Sneijder and Podolski as sub for Lampard and Essien. Then Kompany as DC. Get another youngster which are quite well developed as the sub for Makelele since Mascherano dont want to come. These few already eat up 50m and from these squad I'm confidence that I can lift up 4 cups in my 1st season. |

That's the price for FM or Fifa. Definately cant get those players with those prices. Barca never settle anything less than 17m for Messi, even at the start of the game. Messi ori price is 9m. Kompany also the same, have to be somewhere 11m - 12m. Ready 20m for Akinfeev, nobody land him lesser than 20m. Kaka 16m ?!? You must be joking.
If this are from FIFA, I no comment then and stop bringing it into this thread, it's making those new player confuse. |

I never like anything with the word FIFA on them. FM06 is the best for me cos I'd been playing b4 the split of the crew when they were still together under CM4, then I started playing FM05 until now. Soemtimes *laughs* I'd rather re-load and play a game that I won cos of injury problems after the match.. no need to change positions lar at half-time or 60 minutes... i play straight with the same position... the trick is during half-time talk, just tell them "Pleased" or if trailing 0-1 tell them "The team's pride is at stake" enough lar... sure 2nd half still perform the same one

1. Split all your 3 parts into new schedules so you can tweak the training load. As you can see I have 3 teams; Defending, Midfields, and Strikers. Actually have Wingers but I just combined them with Midfields to get other stats up.
   2. Make sure arrows keep on going up, at first set the workload to HIGH dont go for VERY HIGH else they get injured easily. This is cos if some arrows drop (unexpectedly), you can pull the training on that aspect higher since still got extra workload. 3. Monitor their training very often, like once in a week check each player's training. Then adjust their schedule if got arrows dropping. This is my Torres. Check to know their consistency in training. Make sure the schedule is right, the bars are up on what skills they should have.  4. Set each coach to only 1 task which is the best they can offer (5 stars). Then use the other coaches with lower stats to help make the workload lighter.  5. One good example is my Lampard. He just recovered from 2 months' injury where all his stats dropped. Now see the arrows after he recovered 1 week.  This doesnt mean your GK will be SUPERMAN and no-one can score against your team, they are still, well, computerized-human-beings Its not a crime for you to save & load to see which players should be your first 11 when you are in the first season, but it is a crime in the 2nd season hehehe. @doremon.. GK I dont give them any special training lar hahaha cos not really sure bout GK stats dowan to screw it up, I just assign three 5-star coach to GKs. Unhappy? Im not sure, I never faced any problem b4 with their training happiness. If they are unhappy guess u have to tweak their personal workload not the whole team. |

Dont forget, if you have tight schedules at end of the season like me (If you qualify/play for every cups' finals and EPL still running) remember to let them rest 1-2 days without training after games.. cos end season very hectic.. every 2-3 days 1 game, 2 days 1 game, 3 days 1 game... headache...

am thinking to play formation 4-3-3 or 4-2-4 or 3-4-1-2. is tis formation workable? i realize by having 3 defenders, it's quite risky rite... anyone use 4-3-3 be4? also, between sebastian, messi, sneidjer, and kompany, if i'm force to choose 2, which one recommended? and between podolski and torres, choose one, torres would be much better rite? |

my team Ridditch (previously from English Conference North) needs to win two more games after that I am off to English League Two if manage to win the English Conference National. Yahoo... with just less than UK1Million in the coffer, I got no idea, how much will it cost to be converted from Semi-Pro team for Professional team and the cost of upgrading my team training ground (that was my condition in my contract agreement) and if the board decide to expand my tiny 4k stadium capacity.
Anybody knows the cost. Is it compulsory for team to convert to a full-pro team when the team is in english league two? |

the number is unique ID. u can turn it on/off inside preferences. it can be used to associate pictures/logos/badges to the particular unique ID. it uses unique ID's so u can search for it easier inside the editor. if u learn Database Design u know what's unique ID is all about.

He is a bloody freak, another good young keeper to sign is Ben Amos only 14k so I bought him since he is quite affordable. Porcellis is real, but I didnt buy him cos oredi got too many good cheap strikers in mind... btw, these are some coaches/physios/assmans i click-and-sign... currently got around 40-50 coaches n ass man

wont lar, u oredi got 3 on each training enough what... but i got 6 and 7 hehehe... as long as 5-star ok already...

kerlon is fantastic i sort of have 2 teams my main team and my 2nd team which i rotate so that i can deal with those hectic schedules i pair kerlon and robinho in my 2nd team haha u can imagine the chaos that opposing defenders have to deal with |

1st : which is better setting for DM; hold up ball and long pass or dont hold up ball and mixed pass 2nd : if we hav 2 winger with same pstn RL should we swap? what the instructions? cuz i notice new patch allow me to do new taktikal setting which sucks befre new patch come out.... |

Alrite guys, time to report in my findings on PHYSIOS. So far this season (12 games into EPL) for this new game, I have 23 physios just to try and see injured players' recuperation. Here is the conclusion:

I usually dont hold up the ball, usually mixed passing. my cb will usually long pass if their passing skills are up to mark, for me in the lower league, passing of more than 10. 2) once again based in the lower league, strikers (FC) are good to swap position but when i tried on wingers, my players seem to be running everywhere macam headless chickens. but it is fair to say that probably my wingers are not the top players so their intelligence is not there yet... also found out if you have a coach that only specialised in tactics, it does help to create more chances to score. I even realised that players started to take corner creatively, not like last time where they just hit the ball to the centre. hope this help... by the way, does anyone knows how to capture screen shot using MAC... |
