so i never took the chance to get him

most of his technical stats are good, mentally and physically not bad as well....i'm like screw whatever the coaches say
and he's been doing well as a squad player

every player has a current ability and potential ability rating
u can use the editor to check actually
i haven't tried coz i feel it spoils the fun

check his natural position
its probably u r not extracting his total ability because he's not playing in his antural position

at the start of the game if u bid ard 3 million for messi
barca is actually willing to let him go
but the problem comes when tryin to agree a contract with the player

baptista is great when u get his stats up with training
he starts the game as a tenacious midfielder
now hes my midfield general
there are only 4 midfield generals i know of in the game currently
baptista, ballack, gerrard, de rossi
they all have fantastic stats in all 3 areas ie technical, mental, physical

i sort of have 2 teams
my main team and my 2nd team which i rotate so that i can deal with those hectic schedules
i pair kerlon and robinho in my 2nd team haha
u can imagine the chaos that opposing defenders have to deal with

wonderkids got so many lar
there are some young players who are not listed as wonderkids but have great stats

another good dmc is angelo palombo....dunno how much sampdoria is willing to let him go though
but i really want to get de rossi but for sure roma wont let him go cheap hehe
tardelli's stats in my game really geng but i dun wan too many brazilians since i only got 4 non EU spots (summore another brazilian striker lol)
my 2nd season coming to a close liao...just the cl final left...against rangers
my main transfer targets: evra, felipe, de rossi/palombo, ADRIANO(haha jk...i wish lar)

judging from the players that u r able to buy
theres no way any team can afford torres or adriano in fm2006 unless ure chelsea or u manage to build ur finances the first few seasons and the board gives u a lot of money to spend

^ stats are good but not something to boast about really
i have kerlon, messi, felipe, moutinho, vanden borre who have really impressive stats....maybe i will take screenshots

u r right kerlon cannot be bought the first season
but keep an eye on his birthday
when he turns 18 quickly buy him
he has a pretty low buy out clause iirc

but i'm 2 years into my game so kerlon is also 20 already

i have trained him to be an accomplished striker already
is it possible to make him a natural striker??

at the start his stats are not impressive
but he's only 17 at the start of the game
go and train him and see wat happens
check my screenshot to see how much better my kerlon has become
