mid : robben, lampard, essien, kaka, cole, javier (frm brazil 21), s w philips, messi (put in reserve first season), solouman (frm holland age 19 - put him in reserve also first season), Bastian Schwensteiger (put in reserve also)

striker : tevex, crespo/drogba (wanna sell these 2, but no ppl bid), and i want one more....

i'm thinking to play 3-4-1-2 or 3-5-2 (to fully utilize my 2 strikers)...
though sometimes 4-1-2-2-1 also proven to be gd.

Impossible your board allowed only 56k per week for torres ?! What season you are in ?? Do you have great success in your first season ?? Whether a player will join you or not, there are many factors such as the contract you offer, the ranking of the club that is offering the things and the manager himself. If he dont like you or you dont have a good reputation, you will have to pay a lot more to get a player in.

Walao... messi and akinfeev put into reserves ??! Akinfeev is the next Cetr with PA 190+ and Messi is the next Giggs with PA 190+. Both of these players can play in first 11 in any team in any league. Dont underuse them lar... If you really can afford it, get Adriano. But expect to pay at least 100k per week.

hehe, like i say, it's impossible to get rooney for my campaign. there's a sign "not for sale' throughout the entire transfer market. so is c ronaldo. i would luv to buy him.

for adriano, i think i can get him at 22mil. for ibramovich, i think i can get him at 17mil. both also 23 of age. for rooney, i think maybe next season for a price of 30mil?

anyhow for diego tardelli,carignano and moutinho, their previous clubs are what? which country? i'll go survey 2nite since i stil have 1 week left for open market.

my first season only. i havent even start. because frm my experience, first season i'll get 100mil to spend. after that onli bout 20mil to spend per season. tat's why i get all the potential young players first..

i know ppl like messi, solouman, akinfeev, sebastian, kompany have great future ahead and can play first team anytime...but if i put young players in reserve, they will have enough training also right? it wont rotten their skills rite?

because currently my first team alridi got lampard, essien, robben, kaka, cole, wright. which are 6 midfields alridi and some of them will age with gd price in a season or 2. so i'm thinking to put them in reserve to play (at least i secure them) and meanwhile i fully utilize the rest....

dunno do-able or not..hehe, u think adriano better than ibramovich?

I dont think you can get them. Your manager reputation is too low to get those great players. 22mil for Adriano, you must be kidding friend. Prepare 40m to get him. I never heard anyone from the SI forum got Adriano for less than 40m. I dont think Inter is that stupid to release someone who is young with PA 190+ with just only 22m (who is also their champ in the team). In my game with MU, Chelsea offered up to 52m for C. Ronaldo when I once reject them in a 30m bid.

I think you are asking too much for your 1st season, Chelsea already full of talents to grab CPL and secure league title at the start. Why bother get so much of those players ?? In my season, I only get Sneijder and Podolski as sub for Lampard and Essien. Then Kompany as DC. Get another youngster which are quite well developed as the sub for Makelele since Mascherano dont want to come. These few already eat up 50m and from these squad I'm confidence that I can lift up 4 cups in my 1st season.

one thing i must confess (pls dont shoot me for tat)...i'm playin fifa manager..
because i like to see the real match..but i'm addicted to tis topic..

i know though both are different, at least i manage to see the players and their abilities..

here's the player i get
tevex - 38 mil
kompany - 8 mil
messi - 3.7 mil
solouman - 6 mil
sebastian - 6.5 mil
adriano - bidding (but frm experience, should get him less than 30 mil)
akinfeev - 9 mil
kaka - 16 mil
ibramovich (first time bidding, 14 mil now and stil havent accept)

That's the price for FM or Fifa. Definately cant get those players with those prices. Barca never settle anything less than 17m for Messi, even at the start of the game. Messi ori price is 9m. Kompany also the same, have to be somewhere 11m - 12m. Ready 20m for Akinfeev, nobody land him lesser than 20m. Kaka 16m ?!? You must be joking.

If this are from FIFA, I no comment then and stop bringing it into this thread, it's making those new player confuse.

FM2006 database have 275,000 real players, 5,000 teams and 50 countries from around de world!!!!!!!

EIDOS is the pioneer in the Football Management game... Believe me.. these guys started the game for fun and look at the amount of support they have at the moment. I like FM too coz they think of the MAC users too. I mean, one disc can install for PC and MAC..

FM all the way...

@karmakid... brother, FM and Fifa Manager two different things and game engine lar... u bid for Adriano for 30 million see what Inter's manager tell u... For Tardelli (Brazillian), Carignano (Argentinian) and Moutinho (Club: Sporting CP) just type the name, I dont mistype their names...

I never like anything with the word FIFA on them. FM06 is the best for me cos I'd been playing b4 the split of the crew when they were still together under CM4, then I started playing FM05 until now. Soemtimes *laughs* I'd rather re-load and play a game that I won cos of injury problems after the match.. I'd rather hold a draw than to lose more than 3 of my first-11 in a game doh.gif already lost Sneijder and Lampard, cannot afford to lose more

hehe, i guess frm ur comparison, fifa is more on graphical players playing, and FM is more on reality and management.

i know alridi acey..soli on tat..in fifa, can get it by 28mil onli... so, let's not compare the price since i'm not playin FM....will try it later on to see how exciting it is..hehe

unfortunately in fifa, i cant search..can onli browse from clubs...tat's why leh...
but i do agree wit u, if win but lose main players, i do reload also...
but it's like not real time alridi..hehe...

somehow i dont know why Moutinho cant seem to adapt to my strategy although his value has risen... maybe need somemore time to break him in... Essien, Carignano, Sneijder, Kompany, Tardelli and Blasi fits in easily

Friend, if u need to make haste of perfection on your players, i suggest you pick as many coach as possible. Now i need to find a very good coach. U can see the training department, try to get all five to six star at each categories. I know not easy but that's the way. As a prove i already attach the screenshot with 4 cups with EPL, FA, EC and Calling Cup blush.gif
