I sometimes saw cars with plate number positioned at the front right hand corner. Is it against the law to put our plate number like this? Coz I check somewhere on JPJ website and also FB... the law vaguely only said to put your position your car plate number at the front of your car.

Guys, any idea what the queue is like in JPJ Putrajaya office? I got blacklisted due to AES speeding ticket 1 year ago, didn't receive any summon. Called up JPJ and they say just drop by JPJ and pay RM300, suman delivered by registered mail and you need to be at home. $%^

Is JPJ counters open for renewal of car roadtax? Call 03-80008000 and JB branch but all seems to be dead. Website and portal seems to be outdated. Last MCO annoucement was March when they r closed but now RMCO no latest annoucement. Really good for nothing.

Received an email say kena saman for traffic obstruction (no photo, no evidence), but that's not me, I am in the office during the offence time, they probably write the wrong number plate, anybody know how to go and appeal and how likely is the appeal successful rate?

Clarification needed here.

The story is like this.
On 17/8, I was caught by police for speeding.
So, he said my speed was at 124 km/h.
(This is the first time kena, so i didnt think of request for photo evidence).
He also got ask "macam mana"
I ended up "donate" him (ok im wrong here )
He said he already informed his colleague to settle this.
He said if i still see any saman after one week, look for him (again im stupid for not getting his contact, he only told me his name).

So, i kepo and wanna check if i kena saman or not.
What makes me confuse is the status for sms and website is different.
So which one is accurate?

1. Check via SMS (using car plate number)
Check via sms (POLIS SAMAN CARPLATE to 32728) - got saman record RM150.
When i check for saman details (POLIS SAMAN CARPLATE EMAIL to 15888) - no record

2. Check via SMS (using IC)
No record.

3. Check via website (MYEG, JPJ website, SSO website)
No record.
