Hi everyone, I have a headache question that I hope someone can help me with because I’ve tried calling jpj - no answer from them, asking a car salesman but he’s not clear with the answers.

So - I bought a car number plate under my name but without the car yet. It is coming to its expiry date and I want to transfer that car number plate to my husband’s name to put on a new car (his ncd rates are better). Can I do that? What should I do? How much will it cost? How to write a letter to jpj?

Hello guys,

My license is blacklisted due to outstanding summon by JPJ.
So I already went to court and paid the summon.
Now after almost 2 weeks I check in their website my license still blacklisted and the summon still there.
Just want to know how long it takes for the system to be updated so I can renew my license.

Already renewed my license. Looks like it takes almost a month for the system to be updated.

You don't transfer ownership, the bank will issue you a letter and in the system, it will automatically remove the bank caveat on your car after the bank submitted their entry online.

Realize that the new jpj VOC does'nt stated the vehicle color. So if we change color still need puspakom inspection n declare to jpj or not? 🤔🤔

Wonder if anyone know how to go around buying an old bike with a classic plate.

I saw an old bike (not working condition) with a classic plate I liked. What’s the process of buying it off the owner and changing ownership so I can get the plate on a new car?

Do I have to restore the bike, then bring to JPj for ownership change? Or can I skip the step and just take the plate itself?

Anyone tried this similar scenario. (I used Perak as example)
Owning a car with Perak Car Plate Number, but when we transfer the car to the new owner, is the owner transfer need to be done in Perak, or can be done in KL since both (current owner and new owner are based in KL)

Hi guys,

I found a Supra JZA70 which belongs to a friend of mine.
I said he bought the Supra back in 1990 and that time he did not get the car registration card from the car owner.
He said now the car owner passed away.

Is there a way to legalize this Supra ? It seems like a stolen car now since there is no documentation.

The car is lying unused here with me but i cannot drive out.

Anyone have a solution for this ?
