I'm not sure about expired Road Tax. Normally you can transfer, but to new car (unreg car) only.

E.g:
Scenario 1:
Existing: Myvi - WAA 1001
New Purchase: Bezza
You can transfer WAA 1001 from Myvi to Bezza and buy new number for Myvi.

Scenario 2:
Existing: Myvi - WAA 1001
Existing: Wira - WBB 2002
You CANNOT swap both number.

Scenario 3:
Existing: Myvi - WAA 1001
You think WAA 1001 has no luck and want to change new number. Yes, you can do so but pay a bit more.
1. Buy new and cheapest motorcycle and transfer WAA 1001 to your motorcycle.
2. Your Myvi is now numberless. Buy new number, such as RQ 888.
Result:
Myvi - RQ 888
Motorcycle - WAA 1001

I want to submit for current tender call for VW no plate and I am in Johor.

1)must I submit only at wilayah jpj counter or can I do so at Johor jpj counter.

2)if only must be wilayah jpj, can I submit at UTC branch? or only at jpj wangsa maju?

Is there anyway to bypass Puspacom inspection ? I dont understand the logic to change ownership need to go Puspacom. If engine transplant yes i understand.

Hello there bro. wanted to ask eh my license expired d 1 year. i went to UTC kl and they said that i need to go to wangsa maju to the hq there and either buat rayuan or make a new one. is it possible to do rayuan and get a new one back and what the chances or should i just go make a new one? eventho expired cuma 1 year T.T

If u don't mind older number, u can request to go into bilik pengarah or pegawai to see some older plate given up by other people.. got some good one in there.. same price...

Usually u just walk into jpj fill form with photocopy ic and wait yr queue then go ask the counter lady. Dont havr baru masuk bilik

How do i buy a plate number? I got all the forms from the shop im buying a bike already. The lady told me just go there ask and tell Jpj i want to register n buy plate no.

Replying my own post. Went to JPJ padang jawa this morning. For individuals registering your own vehicle you can directly go to pintu 5 (ground level to the most right). Pintu 7 (first level) is for agents or wakil. I was queing at pintu 7 until my spider sense tells me to go and ask Jpj guy if its the right pintu for my case.

Within the 'pintu 5' office, you can register your new vehicle. Counter 1 and counter 2 is for you to purchase number plate should you require. This is as per whatever available after running numbera and not tender numbers.

You can always tender number plate or buy it before you register your vehicle.

Overall since i arrive before 8am it tool me like at most 10 minutes for the whole process.

i have same enquiry like this.. wanna tender n9 number.. need to go jpj n9 or can just drop the tender in jpj kl..

another question.. could we tender number using other id? like runner, if i hire him to do tender, the bank draft mobey would be under runner name or me?

If not mistaken, the number tendered will be in the name of the individual who will be registered to the vehicle. The bank draft will be payable to JPJ.

is it possible to report black tinted car window to JPJ? found many cars around neighborhood with black window which cause security concern
