QUOTE(advocado @ Oct 6 2017, 09:16 PM) ok thanks alot, just to confirm it's the square button on the face of the heater, not the reset button at the bottom. i always though buttons are buttons only difference is whether it works or not when you press. 1st time i see button stuck when no power connected. Yes, the button on the face of the water heater, not the button ELCB reset button. I think you had use older Panasonic or National water heater before, where the ELCB button can be press even without power supply to the water heater.

Anyone currently using Panasonic DH-3JP2MK ? I'm looking to replace my National water heater after using for 15 years. Saw on Lazada selling RM400 . Since this model has pump built it, I am not sure if there's other alternative for my budget of RM500.

Base on compulsive buying behaviour, I just pulled the trigger and bought from Lazada. After discount RM350... So for it's pricing wise, I would say it's good value. Feedback wise, more on motor noise. Is it noisy?

Lately my apartment's water pressure getting lower and causing the old Pana water heater (no pump, 6 years old) sometimes not heating.
I checked the heater spec, minimum water pressure needed is 9.8kPa. Since I already turn max the inlet water flow, so the only solution is change to a heater with pump.
So I'm surveying, if the old Pana water heater really cannot work, what are the options I have for heater with pump. Any recommendations ?
Budget around rm500, not sure how much the installation fee though.
I shortlisted 2 pana choice:
DH-3JP2MK - cheaper but do not have the one push on/off button, subpar shower head (but I plan to re-use my current shower head and holder, so no big deal).
DH-3MP1MW - higher price (over rm500), with on push on/off button, better shower head.
I read on a few pages earlier, someone said his water heater dc pump keep running when he ON the power switch but haven't to turn on the water tap, so I think that 'one push on/off" switch will be useful since it control water + power simultaneously.
Any comments?
