Does anyone have any experience with Midea (China Made)
water heaters ?
Their baseline MWH-38Q is being sold at around $160 to 170
by online vendors, yet can function at a low 1.2 liters/min water
flow, compared to 2 liters/min for most other budget brands
on the market.
Seems to have good safety features as well for a budget model.
Probably the cheapest water heater I have come across so far.
http://www.lazada.com.my/midea-mwh-38q-wat...te-2801626.htmlMidea is one of the largest China home appliances makers, and
apparently is even the OEM and ODM for other name brands.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Midea_%28company%29Hi,
Midea is a strong household brand who manufactured quite alot of home appliances in China and export it to other countries like Malaysia.
It may sell cheap in Malaysia, however, it is quite branded in China.
I don't see any problem to buy china brand products as I believed China's population is a strong proof of China's brand R&D, with the great number of users then they tends to detect and correct fault faster than Malaysian brand products.

Have you guys heard of Beebest Instant Water?
I bought mine from the dealer below,
Very good deal,
One Living Sdn Bhd
37G, 39G & 41G,Jalan SS2/75, Petaling Jaya, 47300
The sales person told me that Beebest brand very strong on the Project Sales side,
A lot of big developers like Brunsfield, MCT etc using it for their latest projects,
Hi,
Yes. Heard this brand before.
For a brand to secure many projects doesn't mean this brand is good or worth to buy. As developers tends to squeeze the best price from suppliers as they buy in bulk, projects tend to compete in price and only meet the minimum requirement in the area of safety, design and etc.
As I always highlight, retailers will push hard for those products/ brand that give them the highest margin. The less famous the brand is in the market, the more they like to push as we as a consumer have limited access to compare prices between few retailers.
In your case, I believed electrical shop like HLK, senheng, D'Legand who also located same row with One Living in SS2 did not carry BeeBest water heater.
