You can, but make sure it is from the light point.
As lights are not that power hungry flex.gif
But you have to know by testing the fuse on the distribution box. If original already 1 fuse serve the whole room, then it will be quite risky.

thanks for your advise. i should test it out. just avoid to share with aircon point. flex.gif

Looking for water heater with rainshower... Visited homedec and saw few brands... Alpha, Deka, Rinnai, Joven, Cornell.... Any recommendation?

Last year, after running all over electrical shops, finally decided to go with BeeBest with rain shower (model S8R). It comes with decent rainshower and runs on DC motor, which is much quieter compared to AC motor. I liked its ELCB and motor cutoff. Their support is located at Jelutong, Shah alam. WHich was my other consideration as well. Element comes with 5yrs warranty.

So far, I'm happy with it.

As for Storage tank, I went with Pecol. Been having it for the last 10yrs. Working great. Just recently replaced the element.

Technically you shall avoid sharing. But then if confirmed already is just lights that are using that particular fuse, then it should not be a big problem. Have to know that, water heater(with pump) the power requirement are not that high. It will be high when the heater starts to work.
Like my house, I install the water heater just because of low pressure. The heater seldom use.

What about for bathrooms upstairs? Have not buy any water heater yet. The lady boss of a hardware shop tell me that if water pressure is good, no need to buy heaters with pump. So far as I see, when I turn on the wall tap, the water pressure is good. So is it ok to buy without pump?

QUOTE(ozak @ Mar 11 2014, 01:09 AM)
Do some simple testing. Put a hose on the tap. Raise the hose up 2 meter with a stick. Open the tap and see the water flow out good enough.

What ever brand you buy, the protecting circuit must be checked once every few years.
Unless you want your self to come out in the newspaper saying you died during shower.
Each year in Malaysia sure have 1-3 person died on this reason.

You need to know, how good is good the pressure. Something a figure to see, check and measure. Without this, the lady boss thinking preesure is not what you think the pressure is it. So you got to ask yourself, how to tell.

Got to try to avoid the later argument with the boss if mistake buying the wrong heater.

How to really check? When I turn on the taps, water flow is good.

i brought 3 joven water heater, 1 with rain shower, 2 normal, but all 3 with dc pump.

i felt that the water pressure isn't that strong even after i turn on the pump, perhaps my house water pressure is really low. sleep.gif

due to it being new model, the contractor don't even know how to assemble it, end up i have to do it myself, and i had already paid him.

will update more after some usage.

Bro, i dont think you shall tap wires from lighting point for WH. most lighting wires are 1.5mm if provided by developer or even the wire man. the MCB rating for lighting is usually 6A. sweat.gif
