I'm currently filing a report to root out these scam companies.

Can't take it already, too many people complain and I want to start doing something about it. Also, I know how it feels to finally got a job offer only to realize it is a damn scam.

Hi all sifu, wanted to ask about my situation, can i get labour law to involved in anyway to get compesation etc.

a. Offer Letter, Appoitment Letter & Confirmation Letter no given to me during my services, all salary credited month no problem, but these letter no given to me during my service for 9month

b. Bonus, promised that bonus will be given twice a year (1month divided to twice), after my confirmation then they said 1st 9month not entitle, meaning if i work 1 year only can get half month. Worst part is the bonus calculation is not fully given the 1month, will deduct 20% because saying that employee impossble can perform 100% so based on 80% efficiency calculation!

I felt cheated & scam to join this company because of those promises and the commitment ive put in during my services even came to support during weekend on Sunday. Need advice here. Thanks

Ive copy all conversion via Whatsapp & Skype regarding all the matter for proof, please advice where i can start to get the labour law attention etc.

I want to apply for job also hard because no letter saying im working there now, i'll be out of job end of this month

Wanted to share a story about how i almost got scammed. Got a job interview at a nameless company at level 13, centrepoint south, mid valley. Saying that it is a consultation company that provides foreign exchange investments for Citibank Hong Kong. Basically forex.

Recieved a phone call on friday saying that they recieved my resume from JobStreet LINA, and i have been offered a position as an ADMIN EXECUTIVE. As a fresh graduate, i blindly see that as an opportunity for me, and just went for the interview. They basically asked me bout my family background, expencted salary, and i was given the ramge of rm2000-rm2800. The interview ended after 30 mins or so.

Next monday, i got a phone call from them saying that i got the job. (Hahaha so fast make decision). The weird thing was, when they introduced themselves on the phone, they said “hi we’re from centrepoint south” instead of actually saying the company’s actual name. It was fishy. Then i told them to send me an email for me to confirm, and they said that “the person that was supposed to handle email isnt around”. And it was the same answer given to me twice. But i just wanted to know whether this job offer is legit or not so i decided to go to their office.

So upon arriving to their office, i noticed something. There wasnt any signboard or company name or logo at their receptionist area. It was fishy. Then during briefing, they said that my role was to assist my manager, and before that i have to learn the basics of what the company does. So they gave me this foreign exchange graphs, and taught me buy la sell la how much then profit you get bla bla bla. They say that their consultation service is for the Citibank Hong Kong, so play with global currency and what shit la. Then they say that i’ll be put on probation for 3 months, during that time they wont deduct epf yet, then after 3 month probation if i perform then get better pay as a permanent. Then they brag saying that their company always do overseas trips, this year go to Korea la, go Lotte World la. They really sembang like its true, managers all very excited la. Then summore they say that their company is so secure and good until they can hire microsoft to make software just for their company use. And the software is called.... “Microsoft Silverlight”. Wtf tot i stupid or what.

So after all that bullshit, then comes the fun part: signing contract. From what i noticed, the contract they gave me got no letterhead or whatsoever to tell me that its from “citibank hong kong” or what. Just a blank contract. Then what i noticed is that, the salary they told me they are offering is rm2800. But when i read the contract, they did not write my salary amount!!!! Basically free labour or what? That was too many red flags already, so I said that I need time to think and go through my contract. When i said i want to take the contract home to read, the lady said cannot. Because its PRIVATE AND CONFIDENTIAL. I know im a fresh grduate but wanna kelentong me like this, cmon la.


So i went home after that. And did more googling, and found out a blog entry in year 2015 of this malay girl who got cheated the same! And she somehow managed to take pictures of the scammers, and to my shock, i saw the SAME lady who was explaining to me about my contract just now, wearing the SAME clothes also! Pink dress and pearl necklace! Aiyo so broke maybe cannot afford to buy new clothes for 2 years now must try hard to scam people.

So yeah. Thats my story. I heard that they usually target fresh graduates because its easier to fool. Before going for any job interview make sure to research first cuz its better to be safe than sorry.

They will cheat you till dead.

KWSP/EPF no pay.
Bond you for no reason.
Your pay isnt up with the job.
You most likely will be embrass by the bosses publicly because they want people to look up to them.

How I know, working there currently and will move out on Dec.

I could not find any website on Arena Connection. What i found was only Job vacancies....Under Name Arena Connection. Difference Company Name same Location..OMG...SCAMM

LOL last week I just got phone call again from this company even though i have been working over there.

1. i just tried put my resume in indeed but never applied any job, then this lady called me said i've applied job for their company. come on guys, still the same modus operandi?

This is my conversation with her;

Lady: you have been invited to an interview to our company,arena connection @ menara ims

Me: menara IMS which floor?

Lady: aa...level 7

Me: suite 7.03 is it?

Lady: yes

Me: how long have you been working over there?

Lady: around 1 month...i guess...

Me: miss, please dont waste your time over there, your company is a scam,i've been working over there but till today i still regret my decision. pls miss i suggest you pack your thing and never turn back to that company. dont believe me? ask the ims tower management in one year how many times this company chg name?

Lady: ooo really..tq sir..tq so much for saving me..

Me: my duty..good luck finding new jobs.

We already reported to KWSP and so on.
So now we only wait for the progress, some of us got 'bond' until 2019.
Some already left, I just waiting for the action.

But do warn others about this company

Lucky that I have a boss that don't want to take even 1 cent from any excess of spending..

However, the bad side is he have trust issue.. Must report daily to him or he will think I do not do anything

This company is fraud bruh. Went for interview today too many candidate in a day. Interviewer only asked to tell bout yourself than said you are hired. Can come work tomorrow. Also there were so many interviewer and every candidate were assigned w diff interviewer. The office layout was very fishy also coz there were no pc anywhere to b found and no other employees doing their work. Only empty meeting room for which were used to interview potential 'victim'.

Was offered junior exec w no exp and given salary 3k and above wadefak. Too good to be true. Hope this help

Scam companies, when you join, they will "offer" you "high" commission instead of salary, then ask you to bring in your family and friends' money as "forex trading". Then their money will be gone for sure. Then your family and friends will come after you.
