Not easy to change. Look in xda but must match your swype version cos layout maybe different.

is it worth to buy this phone?i'm a blackberry user, i used to own bold 9000 and the battery sucks big time when using 3G connection...so i changed to bold 9700...i use a lot of data for emails, social network...means unlimited data...does SII battery also suck? i heard that SII battery not so good with hard usage...is it true?

seriously guys,i really no idea on my s2 ady...i call up maxis to get setting and try to surf internet with 3G also cant!!!
3G is running, we can see on top, but still market and internet explorer cant run.

List your APN settings that you have?
Did you select/enable data : settings/wireless network/mobile network - tick use packet data

by any chance did you play with dns app? or proxy app? or entered a service code that can modify the dns?

For your purpose, stick to the blackberry platfiorm which offers way much better push email , messenging, social networking features. Just get another battery. I ahve used bold 9900 and currently 9860 - both are equally battery guzzlers versus the SGS II

for me on wifi when screen on, calls around 1-2 hours, one movie, 20-30 sms can easily last me a day.
I don't use any social network apps. just viber I think.

wifi ok! only 3G got problem, the icon is running at the top status bar...but i cant access market and internet...when using wifi, no problem at all

SII doesn't have push email?seriously?

i'm planning to use 2 phones...blackberry for work purpose & SII for personal...BB i only use for BBM, but emails, social in SII...

Did you set it to vibrate mode ?
Vibrate mode and silent mode is different.

Silent is just, well, silent and vibration.
Vibrate mode is sound + vibration, (amiright?)

I always use vibrate mode.
Oh yeah and use the offisial thread.

He already did factory reset and still the same. Dun think it is app related.
