For those who want to get the Note & bundle with Telco plan one . U guys might need to get New number from Digi/Celcom .
Just called celcom & they say didnt provide telco switch service on their road show at Pavilion..
But im not sure his info can be trusted or not ..

hopefully it will not be any problem for me. I already on DiGi line, just need to recontract for another 1 year. Else, i just go over the other booth and sign up Celcom. Good to have at least 2 telcos on the launch fighting side by side.

Very poor marketing first of all...SEP can't even get their hands onto it first. Telco pawn all

but i actually doubt so. The mobile line market is so congested now. They won't expect so many ppl turn up to buy the Galaxy Note and sign up a new mobile line - does not make sense at all.

the wanna make the phone so exclusive so they hold all the SME sets.
even SEPs not allowed to sell the phone before launch day (11/11).

annoying.

Nope, it is THE marketing strategy - in their favour though. They will partner with telco to entice ppl to sign up new line/contract then only turn to those who afford to buy one without line. The strategy is to get those "ultimate desperate" to get a mobile line just to get few days head start.

It actually happened at last year DHD launch by DiGi. A Maxis user went sign up a new line at DiGi just to get the DHD earlier as DiGi has exclusive for a month or few weeks, can't really remember. He just ditch the DiGi sim card and plug in his Maxis sim card on the spot. Coz DiGi DHD package is as good as a new phone price without contract. Effectively you get the 1 year mobile data free.

A lot of potential user gonna be turned away if they can't port their number at the roadshow. Dont know why telcos make our lives so difficult. They pawn all the phones until SEP cannot get their stocks and yet they (telcos) make hussle on porting new numbers on the spot. Double boos to them o_O

hahaha, pai seh is me again...i knw this earlier on..so today i ord port to celcom fr maxis...i not going pavillion tml coz outstation d....but i got reserve 1 unit d....sunday go back onli go sign plan...1818 for 108 package for 12 months....

nt genuis la...if u did follow thread 1...i ord post up 1 wk earlier, celcom going to launch this with package, also contract pricing....is my source note me earlier on porting, ask me do earlier lol...

actually, if buy from telco, from what I understand, no need to go pavilion. any telco service centre should be ok. even paper ad said free gift from telco service centres. go pavilion only if you want bling bling pouch...

usually maxis allows to extend contract, no idea about digi bro.
