i'm sorry for asking this question, i just went through a few pages back on this thread. Didnt really have time to read all the posts. But i was wondering if anyone here can confirm the specs for the N56?

from what i've gathered here. N56 will be released by july in Malaysia, am i right? that's a pretty long wait. My gf plans to get a n56, but i was wondering if its really worth the wait? how much of an improvement from the N56 compared to the N55? if its not too much, then i'd just ask her to get the N55 instead. She already started her semester, and really need a laptop asap. Please and thank you

Well, the macbook pro looks on the N56 is really nice. But whats the gpu? is it gt 650? Cause I saw somewhere that the gpu for the N56 is more like a downgrade instead of an upgrade.

apparently her assignments/presentation are already piling up she's an architecture student. But she probably can wait for another week i guess. Since her parents havent banked in the money for her yet. Hahaha

so it seems that the N56 really comes with a HD display and gt630m gpu.. man what a disappointment

any expected specs for the N46? i know the n76 will come with a FHD display

Not even N46.. I guess ASUS is following Apple's footstep then. Make a minimalist design similar to Apple's, put in shitty specs and voila! a "better" laptop than its predecessor

damn... which is which now? is it really FHD or just HD? There are people selling the N56 right now and they say its HD only. And someone from the G series thread also called Asus to clarify on this matter, they also say its only HD not FHD. Asus.. why are you so confusing

apparently the MY N56 design doesn't come with a backlit keyboard also

My gf was planning to get the n56, so I did ask around LYN sellers for the price n stuff. This is where I got a bit frustrated. Some say got FHD, some say HD. So a seller (devour) apparently just COD with a customer for the n56 n told me that not just that it doesn't come in FHD, it also doesn't hv a backlit keyboard. Can try pm a few sellers for more info. Srsly asus.. Wtf... Specs were amazing in US. But once it reaches Malaysia...

Any idea when will it be? If it's too long of a wait. Then will just another laptop
