oh that sounds interesting, so i must use ac power when ever i'm gaming and most of the time my laptop acts as a desktop replacement and will be using it under external power plug in only. But what if the power suddenly goes off ... the laptop will immediately shut down without proper means and this can cause any damage to windows ?? Other than that i will be happy using it in ac power mode.
One more doubt pls, In the change advanced power settings, there's the intel graphics power plan.... right now it is set to balanced for me under both battery and plugged in.
Is it good to change it to maximum performance when plugged in and how would the laptop temperatures be goin' when my intel hd performs under maximum mode ?? and for the 3d settings should it be performance, quality or balance ?? Whenever my laptop runs on battery it automatically goes to performance and doesn't switch back to balance when ac power is used again...
yes, of course if we are on ac only without battery then if blackout surely we might lost some files that are currently in work(and probably didn't save of what), but with ac and battery to be used together, and if running on high demanding things(such as gaming), it will damage ur laptop even more. So if there is a plug or power source, normally i would prefer to take off the battery, so ur battery won't spoil so fast.
as for the maximum performance thing, don worry about the temperature. If u are just using for web browsing, movies, songs and all that ur temperature won't go very high one. The only moment u should worry about it is gaming. And so far this series's temperature quite ok, even extreme stress test also around 90+, and so far i don think any games can push the laptop til that extreme. For the 3d settings, it depends on u. For me i pick let my programme decide. And for the power plan, u just change from the power plan settings there, probably there are some settings overlap. Try check and see. And if me i would prefer to use high performance when on ac adapter and balanced/power saver when on battery only so that the battery can last longer
Hope this help
