i like all doggies.. sometimes mongrels oso.. but my parents cannot accept bigger dogs in the house, so got little nicky.. sometimes when the night is hot i will bring him into my room to sleep.. he sleeps under my bed though then around 7 something in the morning he will jump on my bed & start making noise hinting me to let him out of the room

haha..nicky is very behave o. at least he wont disturb u will sleeping..let u hav a good sleep my bobo keep jumping up to the bed when i brought her back to hometown yesterday..hardly sleep. today reached kl she was so tired..sleep whole day. den oni i can get some good rest usually where nicky sleeps??

how come bobo jump onto your bed to disturb u? she likes to sleep on the bed is it ? Nicky doesn't like to sleep on anything that is cushion-like, he likes the hard floor usually he sleeps downstairs in the living room under the sofa.. yea, he's the master of the living room

How about guys with maltese?

bobo likes to disturb any1 who is sleeping. very notty fella.. not like nicky so guai..he deserves to b the master of living room LOL..

Bobo is too notty hehe..she looks more like a male but when i bring her out she wil pretend very guai de. hide her face ler..sit there diam diam ler..so funny. u n nicky terbalik..u r the 1 notty huh?? LOL

yea i'm the naughtier one.. Nicky is also very much like most of the other shih tzus here, very lazy when eating, will lie on the floor and picky about his food also

ur nicky picky aout food ah? my fifi currently no lah, coz din feed her anything else besides her kibbles. Treats are kibbles also, haah.........
My fifi also noti,when at home, become king, go out, timid......
When see ppl, the tail wag none stop!!! keep on jumping!!
One thing i dun like is that my fifi is like a living vacum cleaner. She'll suck up everything small on the floor, dirt, dust, insect, tissue paper............very dirty lah....
For others, still problem on house breaking ur shih tzu?? Mine sometimes will pee on the right spot, sometimes pee on floor. Dunno she did it on purpose or wat.....

Nicky likes human food.. actually i know i'm not supposed to feed him.. but he will hypnotize me with his pityful face, so i got no choice.. usually i only give him bread or ordinary stuffs like that, other than that cannot.. Nicky also about the same, will be very excited when people come to our house but he will bark although he's not fierce.. i think most shih tzus are the same, will pick up anything they find on the floor especially tissue and insects.. fifi wants your attention that's y pee on the floor.. as for nicky, his doesn't sleep in his cage, instead, the cage is his toilet & his bottle is in it.. he will pee and poo in his cage so when he urinated, his pee will go straight to the bottom at the 'tray' thing covered with newspaper so he wont step on his on pee.. then when he poo in the cage we have to pick up his gold

can feed bread to pup meh? tat day i went to The Pet Buddy look look c c the guy said canot feed bread ge wor... no idea mayb coz bread wil "mengembang" after mix wit water..afraid the pup cant digest gua. currently Bobo settle her biz on the tray. but i don hav a cage for her so she alwaz step back on her pee pee..plan of buying her a cage but afraid she wont pee n poo inside. she hates cage alot alot..even playpen..how ar??

i think nicky already pass his puppy stage and most of the time i only give him 1 or 2 small-tiny-itsy-bitsy pieces jus for him to taste then that's all, no more.. maybe bobo doesn't like the cage/playpen is because she's afraid that u will lock her inside & she cannot come out to play

how old oni consider as adult? bobo stil a pup rite? she's very very notty 1 la..since came back frm hometown she starts to pee n poo in my room d. forget the rite spot to settle her biz..last nite pee on my tilam somemore she canot stay in playpen, cage or anything 1..bark loud loud. like a male pup oni

A pup will mature to its teens around 6 to 8 months, small dogs will reach adulthood around 1.5 years while big dogs around 2 years.

About the bread feeding. You see, bread has yeast inside.... and it can bloat in the stomach and gut. So this is why we should take precaution when feeding bread. The best is to not feed any.

Puppies can easily forget to do the right thing. This is why you must repeat the training everyday. Do not expect your pup to learn and remember so fast.

When she bark, you go and see her rite? Coz your pup will know that to get to your weakness is by barking. Ignore her barking, then she will think that barking is no use and later quiet down. If you scared disturb the neighbours, then go to your neighbours, apologies and tell them you are training the dog so it may be noisy for a few days.

Added on April 17, 2007, 10:56 amPicky eating.... the number 1 cause for picky eating is letting them taste human food as puppies.... My previous shih tzu was very picky coz I was young, didn't know better and feed him tidbits .... regret coz for the next 12 years, he was the worst eater. Now my CKCS, I have not introduce human food.... only natural food like Fruits and vegie.... but it was only given to her when she was 1 year.... during puppyhood, only kibble.

So just stick to kibble... even the treats sold for dogs can cause your dog to be picky about food. Don't get poisoned by their cute faces and puppy eyes.... be stern.

A very good idea to train dogs to pee poo in cage wor. AT least he won't step on his urine .. hehehe .. Some more, he kenot play with newspaper .. . What type of cage u guys buy ?

i want to buy new dog food tonight! brand to recommend? my shih tzu loves variety so have to change dog food every time finish or else she refuse to eat..and also cod liver oil buy from pharmacy good enough?

yups, those cod liver oil is good enough....
