I was wondering how much is a 1/72 aircraft model by Zhengfedu in KL? I am a beginner, so I don wan to start off with revell or academy yet. I know Zhengfedu's models are not really good quality, but beginner boleh la. And where can get? Toycity's models all really expensive la.

Oops sorry. Cos the tag on the thread was model kit, and the first few threads were interesting as they were describing model kits. That piqued my interest, as I was planning to start my own collection of model kits. My mistake then. Sorry.

Lol ... Last i check that is 2 years ago laa kan... Academy price tag for 1/72 kit is around rm19.90-rm39.90 (from Miniature Hobby)... Usually rm19.90 models is for WW2 theme plane... For modern one is around rm29.90-54.90... For some brand, 1/48 modern plane can go as low as rm49.90.. Academy 1/48 ww2 theme is around that price also.. It can get higher depending on how big the plane is... But now, not sure how much is it anyway.. I got a bad feeling that it's increase quite a a lot ... Toy city models of course super expensive lor.. But really good quality .. Wait until there's a sale.. Usually they slash the price up to 30%.. But now the models in toy city really limited laa kan... Ok back to model shop in KL, there are 2 places that I know but haven't check it yet... Check the address below

Owh by the way, never heard zhengdufu brand before. .. There are other kinda cheap models such as Academy, Kitech & Kangnam.. ... I train myself using Academy models and I can understand ur feeling.. Sayang with expensive models if we turn it into trash rite.. .. Anyway happy hunting...

its ok la we can talk anything bout plane but i cant help u much la because i m more into diecast... i dun hav the skill and time to do model kit although i m very interested in it.... if do model kit i think i will start off by builing F117 stealth fighter or B2 bomber .....those kind whole plane body is black one... because no need much detailing

Allrite I will check that models as well.. I remember one of the kits do bundle together both B-2 and F-117 as well.. Anyway have to check back to confirm.. Yep F-117 kinda easy to built.. just have to make sure that their butterfly tail is parellel.. So does B-2 models..

tats y and buy a semi gloss black spray to spray it is enough oledy rite .... no choice dun hav airbrush

Yep.. 1 colour for all.. I have 2 different scale F-117.. 1 i didnt paint it at all since its already black.. lol .. But i might paint it later... Just dunno what colour wanna use... Another one I paint into german gray... Nothing to do, soo experiment with other colours ..The airbrush really a good investment lor... At least can do it for something else... My point of view only laa kn..

hello guys!!im new to this hobby..so i guess i should start off with the ready made die cast models right?im a big fan of russian planes but everywhere i go..they sell mostly american planes only..wud be really pleased if u guys can share sum pics of russian modern warplanes models just to satisfy my cravings..

i wud love to have the su 30,su 33 or the su 35 for a start..the city square shop got sell?its very near my home..can go and check out this weekend..

btw..are there any threads discussing about modern warplanes..i havent found anyone who is interested in modern warplanes whom i can speak to..

Hi there, i used to like US plane but now I'm starting to like russian aircraft too but like you say it's extremely hard to find russian plane at shops. I just manage to get a Su27 flanker only so far and i think there is no diescast on Su30 , 33 or 35 yet . I'm also interested in Modern Warplane .

hello!u hav an su27?where did u get it?ive went to toycity,toys r' us and sum tiny stores in lowyat ony so far..nothing much there..must find sum more 'grown-up' stores if im ever going to find my beloved SUs..

I've got it from Hong Kong, they got quite a lot of diecast there . The price range a decent diescast is RM 100 - RM 160 if you purchase them directly in Hong Kong . I noticed the Witty Wings are selling quite expensive here. I think Toy's City in Jalan Bukit Bintang got sell Witty Wings but can't remember if they got SU-27.





Yeap , its the su-27 that I have and it's witty wings.

DW Dun hav SU but witty wings also hard to find in malaysia .........

su 27 stealth?in the movie 'stealth' the su37actually made an appearance but was shot down like pieces of paper..i felt like crying watching that..

just read about the accident involving the blue angels acrobatic team..was just watching a 'lock on' game version of them a few months back..wud like to wish my condolences to the family of the deceased..
