I will try to post the pic tomorrow cos' my son not in today and I am not sure how to post since I got stroke. The stroke has really done a lot of damage to my brain. Maybe you can show me how to post pic and I will try to do it.

The parts are for the landing gear but I don't  know exactly where to fit them and further more they are so tiny that you can't hold it with your finger make it more difficult for me.
*
ya la... they're miniscule. me dunno where they fit in either and no patience to research so just left them in the box. but i know the niggling feeling of displaying an incomplete model, eh?

Guys, does MHH sell other models 1/72 (fighter aircraft)  apart from the ones listed on their website?

Seems limited to HM 1/72 and a few varieties, mostly civilian aircrafts.

Any one collecting WW2 planes?
*
mhh principally sells commercial aircraft. they've only just started bringing in hm although it's mostly limited to modern jets. i spoke to hanx last saturday and he wasn't too sure about the interest in ww2 planes especially since they come in so many different variants (he's not sure which to bring in and which to avoid) so perhaps you can get in touch with him and register your interest. he did say he's bringing in additional stock mid next month.

alternatively you could check out toypanic... they carry quite a few ww2 aircraft.

Wingnut, I refer to your comment on 17.10.14, you said that US marking A/C/E are single pilots plane but how come I have a F15E Strike Eagle with two pilots, very confusing. rclxub.gif rclxub.gif
*
my apologies... i was thinking along the lines of the f/a18. like the f/a18... it's correct until d. for the f/a18a-d... it's the legacy hornet. e-f are the superhornets. likewise the f15a-d are the eagles and f15e, the strike eagle. i think because of the increased electronics, there is no single seater f15e (i could be wrong) and hence, it's only designation as the f15e (no f15f variant). you also have the f15i (israel), f15j (japan), f15sg (singapore) etc...

...also, i think there are no single seater f14s rolleyes.gif

We are going into page number 100, one of you guys post a pic to celebrate our 1st century posting. A Century Wing model will be excellent for this occasion.

*

To own one Century Wing is already a dream for me and the amount of F14 this guy has is enough for him to build a 1/72 carrier.

I hear some one mention about me. sweat.gif  sweat.gif I have total  18 F-14 in collection, 16 are CW. But i had slow down in aircraft collection and concentrate on my diecast car collection. Btw, i am happy to share my CW collection photo here. Haha....soon or later, comrade wingnut will be the CW taiko here. He is grabbing all the CW around the world in ebay and other website. Right?
haha! i wish! nowadays all the older released cws like over rm1k a piece! even bulk purchase also they asking for at least rm800/item sweat.gif sweat.gif sweat.gif

oh my gawd... cw's latest f14 1/144 releases are more than double the price of their previous releases! and they now cost more than ww's 1/72s! moneyflies.gif moneyflies.gif moneyflies.gif

mega_shok.gif

anyway, as requested by comrade jdk to post at this centennial page, here's my collection of cw tomcats (they're at the forefront... ww's at the back). too lazy to take them out to photograph them one by one... and the blackbirds are displayed elsewhere.

Thanks to all of you for sharing you collection. Like chinese saying "TAI HOI NGAN KAI" direat translation, opportunity to see with your big eye.

better see with big eye than see with "third" eye shocking.gif

holidays are evil... pulled the trigger on ww's f14 black knights and f15 gulf spirit. damaged could've been worse... much worse. but then again, it's merely prolonging the inevitable: got my sights on f15 aggressor, f/16 sufa and f/a18 argonauts! sweat.gif sweat.gif sweat.gif

On diecast, how are the seam joints? Clearly visible?
*
it can be a deal breaker at times. you'll know what i mean when you see witty wing's f14s ("broken neck") and hobby master's f16s ("broken back").

for comparison (my personal preference):
f14: cw, ww, fov
f15: hm, ww, fov (hm only just started with f15s)
f16: ww, hm
f/a 18: ww, hm, fov (hm is actually better than ww but they don't do super hornets)

if the red rippers was any indication, you should be receiving yours in 2-3 weeks. didn't realise it was actually out as official release date is in nov 2014... but i'm not complaining. i must say this model has become my favourite cat...
