QUOTE(kungfugymnast @ Jan 19 2015, 10:07 PM) Great pics on the variants markings. Didn't know there are still military fans around here. Thought the last shop selling model kits miniature hobby already closed down 2 years ago. You guys still get to buy the model kits, airbrush, mr color paints, etc? hobby hq is still going strong... |

QUOTE(kungfugymnast @ Jan 20 2015, 01:44 PM) Ah i see. Diecast aircrafts are quite limited and most aren't made in real high detailed. Wish they have more for 1:48 scales , maybe maisto, burago and china brand that make diecast cars should turn to military. diecast are quite limited? my wallet begs to differ... i dunno about diecast cars but the 1:72 scale jets are looks pretty detailed to me |

QUOTE(blu3hamm3r @ Jan 20 2015, 03:50 PM) Im doubt which brand u refer to is limited but not highly detail? Maisto, bburago and china brand make model car in highly detail? Hahaha..... r u joking or serious? well said, comrade blu3hamm3r There is a lot of other brand who can make more detail model car than bburago and maisto but not class as highly detail model car brand yet. U can try search Amalgam model which is the top model car brand in the world, they produce lot of 1/8, 1/12 and 1/4 scale highend model car. If you r looking for smaller scale such as 1/18, 1/43, please feel free to have a look on CMC, Bauer, GMP, IXO, Exoto, Danbury Mint, Franklin Mint or Technomodel. All this a well know as highly detail model car maker. After this so call "highly detail" brand, this is some medium high detail brand too such as BBR, MR Collection, Peako, Frontiart and Looksmart. After this medium high detail brand, then only we go to medium end brand which is Autoart, Kyosho, Minichamps, Hotwheels Elite, Schuco, GT Spirit and Norev. Those bburago, maisto, Welly, Hotwheel and RMZ is consider low end mode lcar maker. If u looking for highly detail aircraft, u can have a look on www.flyingmule.com. I can't list out all the brand here as there is too much. From wat i know, Century Wings and Hobby Master is the most famous aircraft brand maker who delivered high detail aircraft if compare to those brand tat u mention above. Other than this, Witty wing and FOV is also a good choices. Hope my comment make u more understand about diecast model car and aircraft. i also dunno on what basis comrade kungfugymnast is saying (i) diecast aircraft is limited; and (ii) aren't made in real high detailed (sic). mebbe he meant 1:48 scale, which i am inclined to agree. but in all honesty, 1:48 has never been a common scale... it's usually the 72s or 144s. if you do wanna mix your military jets with civvies... then the 200s would be best. hogan has lots of those. then again, he may be interested in one of those rarer models like say the enola gray... |
