trivia:

the aircraft flown by capt tony murphy during the 7 february 1991 engagement detailed in the commentary for plate 13, f-15c-39-mc- 85-0102 was responsible for the destruction of at least three iraf aircraft during desert storm. it's first kill occurred on 29 january 1991, when capt david rose destroyed a mig-23 with an aim-7 missile. the second and third kills came via murphy on 7 february. delivered to the 33rd tfw in october 1986, the airframe continues to be operated by the wing from eglin afb. - f-15c eagle units in combat by steve davies.

and here's the pic of the 3 kills marking:

apparently it was col rick parsson who was credited with the first kill instead of capt tony murphy... but that said, 3 kills on rick parsson's ride seems like overkill to me. anyway, just enjoy the model for what it is.

yups... it's an outstanding model with it's bright red and yellow motifs. thanks for the earlier feedback, peeps!

guys, what are your thought about ww's and hm's f16s? i kinda prefer ww's f16s for the simple reason that it doesn't suffer from the "broken" back that hm is (in)famous for, but the landing gear assembly is a pain.

ya, i saw that too. but dunno izzit af1 ok or not. the "no stop" boo boo is still fresh in my mind doh.gif

but this being russian, i wouldn't even know if the russian word translates to "no shit" unsure.gif

u getting this, strikermac? af1 prices are creeping into hm's territory... and hm's prices are creeping into cw territory. needless to say, cw has shot through the roof... rclxub.gif

Haha, always like this.
Except some special operation on anti-terrorist did win.
Can see if fight with the big coutries, US always didn't really "do war" bravely. hmm.gif
So juz movies make US look tough tongue.gif . But high tech on aircraft sure is real.

Toypanic seem to bring in quite a lot of AF 1 model and I presume it must be quite okay if not they wouldn't brought in so much model.

pre order meaning no need to keep stock. will probably end up in stock if those who pre ordered fail to make payment. i don't think it's a definitive reflection of demand or quality. just my dua sen...
