Agree. The prices of sofa vary quite widely with the quality. One need to understand some terms such as Aniline, Semi-Aniline, corrected grain, split leather in order to appreciate leather furniture better. There are also the bonded leather, faux leather or "fake"leather.Bovine is a generic term to meant hoof type animal which includes, cow, buffalo, goat, etc etc.
