Normally phone cable got 2 pair cable inside and LAN cable got 4 pairs. U can use cat5 cable for phone line. Just use 1-2 pairs and the others keep as spare.

Can I add external antenna to tplink 1043nd?

in my case, install unifi 7/11/11 , they terminate phone and streamyx 8/11/11.

Hi guys, if my house not listed in the coverage area bit my area got Unifi. Usually how long they will add port for my house? The row behind my house got Unifi but my row houses don have yet. How ah?

The last time I applied unifi, I ticked that I wanted to terminate streamyx/phone, and I went to TMPoint to check as well (during the installation, I even asked whether the streamyx/phone line is terminated or not). You can never be too safe.

Usually within 2-3 mths. Frm my experience 1 of my customer within 2 weeks his address was already ready for installation. It depends who is handling yr application end of day.

Guys, how do i enable the 2nd Phone port on the BTU? I plugged in 2nd phone to it, and it dosent work.. different tone.. i switched both phones, and it seems port 1 is fine, but port 2 dosent work.

Just get a splitter to split the line after PORT1. Someone said port2 may be used for another number in the future. Not sure about it now.

Did anyone faced unable to have internet since from day 1 of installation??

Do you have to go and cancel your existing Streamyx and telephone line yourself? If yes, what document or stuff do you need to bring?
