To answer home plug question from v12.
Home plug does not need to work in even numbers. Minimum 2 and above.
You can have 1 home plug to your router. Then 1 in the study. 1 upstairs in ur room etc. As long as they are in the same network it will work.
No need to buy 2 or 4 or 6 in pairs.

Normally download speed is non dependent on file type.

Normally phone cable got 2 pair cable inside and LAN cable got 4 pairs. U can use cat5 cable for phone line. Just use 1-2 pairs and the others keep as spare.
Can I add external antenna to tplink 1043nd?
Although 3 antennas but each antenna only 3db. Not strong enough.

I m using 1043nd. Very stable. I leave it on 24x7, never restart it also
