One of the limitations I can see with Huawei K3520 is the limited upload speed it has.
Only up to 384kbps, exactly like the one I have for ZTE MF622. High download speed but miserable upload speed.
After I have changed it to Huawei E1762, upload speed has increased tremendously and this affects PING directly.

Also, the tower at my area back in PJ has also improved. I used to get around 99ms few months ago and now it is halved of it, around 50ms. smile.gif

yea u need a modem support higher upload speed than current 384Kbps,.. any modem support 1~5Mbps upload will improve your PING,. of course signal is important role as well,.. if u have phone, try to use your phone to tethering, u might get better ping than from your current modem,..

for nokia xm 5800 spec :

Data GPRS Class 32
EDGE Class 32
3G HSDPA, 3.6 Mbps
WLAN Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g, UPnP technology
Bluetooth Yes, v2.0 with A2DP
Infrared port No
USB Yes, v2.0 microUSB

as u can see, nokiaxm5800 have 3.5Mbps download speed, and 384Kbps Upload speed. signal wise it might stronger than your modem. u can try with it and see how is the PING first,..

nokia xm 5800 is HSDPA support,. u need HSPA ( 1Mbps upload ) support device either modem or phone..
