Very hard to get the DL speed just just like the one u show (actually is impossible for me so far), is it my broadband problem(ZTE MF 190)? my setting? or there is any software to boost it up? or is my location problem(i am from penang)?

hye, just want to ask if any of you have done unlocking port 47 for maxis?
i know that we need to contact maxis if want to unlock that if want to use PPTP VPN..
what do they ask if we want to unlock that?
coz i plan on renewing my VPN sub that i use to play games and torrenting..
u think they will approve for unlocking just for that reasons?

Pls be sincere, That Speedtest with a PING of 5ms was achieve with a Maxis FTTH connection, not Maxis WIRELESS Broadband.

To other users here, a PING of less than 10ms can only achieve with a FIBRE OPTIC connection, correct me if i am wrong.

Even YES only give me this best PING so far

A few USB modem did give good PING ( for online gamers ), there are Icon505/M , UMG1831 , MF691

I own each of them and tested them, you can check back my past postings to verify them.

First time in history, my download speed is more than 2.0MBps = 16Mbps rclxms.gif

Of course sudden burst only but stays consistently more than 900kBps = 7.2Mbps at this hour. brows.gif

My complaint works. biggrin.gif

Just want to share that I finally able to host my IP Cameras using this plan. As we all know that most of Maxis connections usually gets private IPs, upon a request to Maxis, you can activate public IPs for your account and then change your APN to unetp.

I just got mine activated yesterday and still doing a lot of testing on it. Right now, I already have VNC and IPCam setup via Maxis connection. I have yet to determine if there is any difference in terms of speed or not. My house signal coverage aren't that great to allow me to achieve optimum speed.

Speed for Lite Package = Rm48, is capped at 512Kbps..

Is Maxis really capped it?

Nice! Did you apply by phone or go to the center? I was thinking of setting up IPCam but with private IP's, its useless....
