You better reconsider your intention of ordering alienware products oversea, alienware products are known to have a lot of problem (yes i sold a lot of them, 10 out of 7 come back for warranty), so if you're going to order from US, you sacrifice the warranty.

My keycaps ordered more than 20 days belum sampai lagi hope its not stucked at kastam as well -.-

You can try wasdkeyboards.com for the ABS key caps, if you're looking for PBT you may have to try www.taobao.com, or geekhack.com to look for their group buys (warning, heavy poison inside, browse at your own risk.)

Both are plastic, but PBT are more durable compare to ABS, and some people claims (from geek hack) saying that after changing to PBT, they feel much more better to type on a mechanical keyboard, that i haven really tested my self, i believe some people here will give you some inputs.

off topic: Oh my... the spec for Area 51 is still running at X58, which are outdated... i believe with my current spec also can beat it -.- can't really see what graphic card they using for Area 51 tho, they never list it out in their tech spec from here. http://www.dell.com/us/p/alienware-area51/pd

Finally my Filco Majestouch AI 1 is back from Taiwan.

Now is to wait for my keycaps arrival, everything is set!

Yeap what it came back was the AI 1, the box isn't sealed tho so i suspect its a refurbished set instead of brand new.

Think it takes about 2 months like that in total @@...

Probably you can tell us the price so we can judge whether its overpriced? And FYI you cannot take those US dollars and then convert = our price.

EDIT: Wait, RM555 (i believe its SRP, you can get for better pricing, just pm him) isn't that expensive + its 2 years warranty. compare it to Steelseries 7G where its priced almost the same, but with plain look + 1 year warranty only.

As mentioned before, you cannot take other country's price and convert = become our price, that's how things work in this monopoly world.

Should be gold, platinum not even landed in Malaysia yet so far only seen Japan has them selling now.

And the outcome of installing orange blank key caps on my filco...should have ordered yellow instead but who cares...140% satisfied!!

Next would be targeting PBT yellow blanks!

I spent RM200+ on keycaps (normal ABS) while he spent on keyboard with doubleshot keycaps... seems like he got a better offer out there.

Any mechanical keyboard can be your first, its all about which kind of switches that suit you most, since you lay down to 2 selection between blue and brown, both more or less are same, just that brown is tactile non clicky.

While blue is tactile and clicky, which will produce a lot of sexy moaning.. i mean produce lots of clicky sounds.

to be honest i wish to get blue, if only it doesn't has the "register lag" when tapping too fast...or if its only "that" keyboard issues, lol.
