EDIT: NVM you were comparing the DK9008S instead of the DK9008.

Well after all they are the same mechanical keyboard, using the same switches (ranging from Red/Blue/Brown/Black), just that Filcos are much more a premium grade with better QC, built quality, so on.

Major difference between DK9008S (the one you comparing with LED backlit) and DK1008 is, of course its the LED backlit -.- and thus you see the huge price difference.

If its red switches, then it will be red switches, there is no saying like "good red switches or bad".

Cex is selling the Ducky Shine Red switches at RM469, DK9008G2 PBT keycaps red switch is RM439.

Not all keyboard has the full NKRO support under PS/2, but nothing to worry about if its Ducky.

Its for future proof purpose marketing i believe, sooner or later, PS/2 will be dropped by the motherboard manufacturer, just not sure when. tongue.gif But the time will come.

Hmm, when it comes to mechanical keyboard, the quality should be tiptop condition already, so nothing to worry about being good or bad, at least that's for me lol.

Things could be different when something good from the foreign scene came into Malaysia, for your info, stuff we are having now like the IT gadgets are under distributors, not the official company themselves, so the price won't be that cheap when compares to Newegg US.

Singapore is entering peak level for their online shopping already, Malaysia is still new that's why people are interested to investing here.
Actually seeing a lot of people so hyped about it in the newegg dedicated thread, felt that Malaysia still not much people out of the cave yet. smile.gif which is a good news to some people.

Yes all check it already he is really serious now typing on SteelSeries 6GV2.  The keyboard still look new & smell new look awesome without any scratch on it so does the BAG. 

1. My story is, TS send the keyboard to me first without me pay him anything since I don't trust him due to the item selling cheap you all know right how much this keyboard price+this include BAG huh brows.gif  first thing that come on your mind is CONMAN so does me. TS agree without second thought about pos laju it to me first then pay later a big applause to TS  rclxms.gif  so I'm surprise at first so okie lar I said to him after the item arrive & do some checking then I will pay him RM150 instead RM120 as we agree.  So the deal is done successful big thank to brain0empty (TS) I will pay him tomorrow morning.

2.  Before this I did asked for Bro. lucidlts to do COD for me but he can't due to different area.  Then after that I asked for Bro. Apis_Lualua at first he agreed but until the next day when TS want to COD at Pappa Rich @ Gardens at 12.30pm Bro Apis can't make it since he only COD during night day so I ask Bro. Apis discuss with TS at the end I think TS can't COD with Bro. Apis mention time since TS has a busy schedule.  so COD deal is cancel.

So that brought to the first story up there yeah.

Now just waiting for Bro. lucidlts Pre.Order the PLU-ML87 Blue switch from him.  icon_rolleyes.gif

One does not buy keyboard protector for their mechanical keyboard because it will losses what the mechanical keyboard would offer... but anyway, if you're talking about the exact fit type, quite hard to get in malaysia, i only see those for slim keyboard which is exact fit, for certain model of course.

Seriously I find that Malaysia's PC market is screwed and being neopolised by those retailers.

I ytd go LYP and almost faint seen the price of HDD. Despite being almost half a year after Thai's flood, the price still sky high... rolleyes.gif

Zowie is more targeted on korea/taiwan market since they sponsors most of the team from there, and youngsters prefer something colorful. smile.gif
