Chill bro, not try to implying that local one is expensive or what. Ducky is from Taiwan and thus it is reasonable for them to be cheaper(a little, not much actually) in Taiwan. Also, I know that importing goods will be more expensive(shipping and so) and it is normal for stuffs to be more expensive in Malaysia...

guys, i wanna ask.. mechanical keyboard is softer to press compare to normal keyboard? or vice versa?

i saw the 30g,50g thingy.. for membrane keyboard like my g510, how many g is the button? wanna try 1.. see how it feels  i thought mechanical keyboard is harder to press compare to membrane 1..

guys, where is filco keyboard assembled and around what price are they on now?
i've heard some rumours filco and ducky manufactured from the same factory?

They both made in Taiwan. But from different OEM.
Filco is japan brand and design but manufactured by Costar in Taiwan. Can say is the top notch quality you can get in Cherry Mech KB.
Ducky is Taiwan brand and manufactured by taiwan OEM(not sure but somehow they are related to KBC China). Quality is acceptable but the QC is kind of inferior to FILCO for sure.

I not sure if Leopold is also made by Costar but CM Storm(yeah, the famous cooling product brand) and Rosewill is made by Costar. They are a good option if you can afford the high price tag of FILCO. Though, some ppl do claim that even they are from same OEM, their QC standard are still below FILCO(thus higher RMA rate).

Since when you all thought Leopold is Costar manufacturer. Leopold is not using Costar stabilizer as well.

regular membrane used around 55g +- depend of design. But advance of mechanical keyboard is it fast activate compare to membrane because membrane u need press till btm only the key will activate but mechanical switch not need to btm up also will activate already you press like 2mm like that only, so when u 1st time used it with membrane typing style you will feel tired cause u will auto keep btm it but when u already get used to it, u will  auto not to btm it and make typing very comfort already.

Like me i am black switch user, when i 1st time used my Keyboard is like typing machine cause i keep btm it and finger feel very tired after some time. After few month of using, currently i type with less btm it already which make my keyboard have less sound already compare to first time used. The 1st part u find the different of mechanical keyboard will be the part where the key return to it position after press is very quick/solid compare to membrane.
Not sure about other but that my 1st experience when i start used.

Ducky gives more accessories. Filco is just the USB converter and that's all, lol

FYI, only the Filco limited edition will comes with keycaps + Key puller.

First mechanical keyboard and loving it. Really one of those things where once you use it you don't really want to look back. But now I'm thinking about trying out other switches. Browns feel quite nice but I really want to try Reds.

Also I'm going to get a USB to PS/2 converter since I play rhythm games(O2Jam needs 7 while USB only 6KRO), so wanna ask whether any converter will do or should I watch out for those cheap cheap ones?

anyone know who or anyone I can go to for mechanical keyboard key caps? would love to change the keycaps on my 7G, since its going to be 3years old now and the keycaps look pretty faded

i bought some Red Blank PBT Keycaps awhile ago, and found out that the height of the keycap is actually higher than the original keycap that comes with Ducky 9008, is it normal to be that way?
