mana yang betul?

The CR-Z is powered by a 1.5 L (92 cu in) i-VTEC SOHC inline-4 engine, designated as LEA, with Honda's Integrated Motor Assist (IMA) hybrid-electric system.[19] A six-speed manual transmission is standard equipment and a continuously variable transmission (CVT) is available. The system delivers a combined peak output of 122 bhp (91 kW; 124 PS) at 6000 rpm and 128 lb·ft (174 N·m) at 1000 to 1500 rpm (123 lb·ft (167 N·m) on CVT-equipped models). The gasoline motor itself contributes only 111 bhp (83 kW; 113 PS) at 6000 rpm and 106 lb·ft (144 N·m) at 4800 rpm. An early road test of a Japanese-market CR-Z resulted in 0-60 mph in 10.5 seconds and the quarter mile in 17.6 seconds.[20] Inside Line performed the same 0-60 mph test in 8.8 seconds, and Motor Trend, in 8.3 seconds.[21][22]

Thanks for your interest.

Yes, of course i've tested it biggrin.gif i am amazed at the acceleration as it's a hybrid car.. actually i don't intend to SC it straight after i get the car, would drive it til the warranty expires tongue.gif

I can't drive manual for f**ks.. haha.. tried the R34, S15 over the years and recently the STI and Megane but still... sigh~ anyway, driving around in the city itself i'd prefer an auto

I've not actually tested the power of the CRZ as i don't think the Sales person would allow me plus he might be scared.. haha.. but from the test drive i did, i still feel i could use a little extra help from some 'horsie' tongue.gif

Actually have you tested the CRZ? If you haven't, I would suggest you to test drive it first.

To me, the power delivery is quite good and take note that this car is pretty light weight (about 110kg lighter than FD2R) considering the number of equipment it carries. It delivers 107hp/tonne and max torque 174Nm comes in early at 1000rpm. In Sport mode, you can easily burn tires (and clutch) if you're not used to the throttle & clutch response. Of coz, if its a CVT then its a different story lah.

Enjoy the CRZ in its stock form first, get used to the ride, handling, feel and its limit (when pushed)... then only consider upgrading the power plant if necessary. FYI, if you just need additional 20-30hp, why not consider NOS instead? Or maybe SC + NOS combo?  thumbup.gif

An auto has enough power if you are a regular town and city driver imho. For me being stuck in jams day in day out i am pleased to get an auto although a manual is more fun if you dont have to face jams daily.
When i did the test drive in a manual my sa was holding on to dear life. Luckily he knows me well and knows my capabilities and driving experiences so he was not so scared. I am used to driving a 6lt super saloon and lots of very high spec cars. One word says it all it's a nippy fun car to drive. Don't go to the point of pushing it too hard. It is not meant to driven that way.

hey guys, sorry for barging in.

tunang putted some idea in my head and asked if i shud trade in my current car for CR Z, if it has better FC (current car is at most 8km/L)

one of my main concerns is the battery though. say if it really rosak and needs replacement, how much would it costs? and how long can it tahan until require replacement?

Hi i am thinking of changing the HU to 2 din unit with GPS when i get my car later, any recommendation??? long time never "play" with the HU already... I know, i can get a standalone garmin/papago gps cheap, or even the smart phone gps are good, but my wife will be the main driver for CRZ and she hates wires goes around the center console... so i don't have much choice..

I am just wonder whether any of the newer HU comes with papago/garmin gps maps, that can be updated rather then those own company type of map??? also any idea the pricing for it??? Saw the clarion mirage demo on the internet, wondering when will it be launched???

I have a rough idea that the bracket for the 2 din unit cost about RM300, or i can actually get it at a lower price???

Thanks for the input, guys

Best regards,
Willie
