other legal markets (or places to download apps) i know...

* getjar is legal and meant to be alternative way for publishers and developers to distribute apps. yes, cut the rope here was available for free.
* amazon
* samsung apps (this is an apps that comes preinstalled with the phone)
* direct from game developer's sites (like gameloft, tegrazone, etc)
* 'your candy', 'my candy'...
* some telcos
* some forums like phandroid

basically... if its a paid apps everywhere else... chances are, the free one you're downloading from is illegal. also, if that site offers everything for free... then also very likely its an illegal site. coz all the sites i mentioned above... usually there will be some paid apps.

Hi guys, need help. After i brick my phone, i only can go into download mode. Now im thinking to flash to a new rom with CWM, then restore my backup via CWM.

Which rom have build in CWM ?

Anoher question is what other better option can i take to repair it ?

Yes that's right but sooner or later both version will be at 2.3.5 or maybe 2.3.7 :-P

but both surely will got ics right??

Nothing much really. The phone works prefectly with both version. And yes, ICS will eventually comes to SGSII as it has been confirmed by Samsung already

just tried, but since phone is brick, so cant get into USB debugging mode.
So cat do anything now,have to send back to Samsung

Tot SGSII already have ICS? I tried what is called portable hotspot in mine. Think it worked when tried to use Galaxy Tab10.1 to access the 3G. Mine is stock ROM. Still virgin

If not you can get this gps.conf. Just drop it in systems/etc and reboot. Try and see if you can lock faster outdoor.

Was using the latest batista Italian Custom System few days...

need some help from the pros here...

this morning i went and flash checkrom rev 2.0 then end up losing my jkay lockscreen and my power button only have shutdown.reboot,recovery,download and screenshot. everything else i enabled also cant. tried restoring backup data from titanium no effect. try wipe data then restart no effect, try reset also cant. then i wipe and flash new one, at first it works 2.0 got all the icons and got all the jkay lockscreens, then i restart to get the 6 status bar, restart ad i lost my lockscreen and power buttons again really no idea what should i do ad, dam la shudnt upgrade to 2.0 everything was fine with 1.0, now i flash back 1.0 also lockscreen and power buttons missing

i din use the wifi hotspot so not a problem to me. anyway ICS is not the final choice. siyah is still preferable to me but i'll only flash it when stable version comes out
