I just brick my phone..
was restoring backup via CWM, but stuck at I9100 logo screen.
Then i pull battery to restart, but still stuck at I9100 screen.

What can i do now? Upload mode is keep stuck at I9100 screen.
Anything i can do with download mode? HELP

Vol up + Screen button + Power = Upload mode
After go into Upload mode, we can use CWM to backup or restore.

After i use Odin to recover, my phone is still root and have CWM ?

Hi guys, need help. After i brick my phone, i only can go into download mode. Now im thinking to flash to a new rom with CWM, then restore my backup via CWM.

Which rom have build in CWM ?

Anoher question is what other better option can i take to repair it ?

just tried, but since phone is brick, so cant get into USB debugging mode.
So cat do anything now,have to send back to Samsung

Just back from Samsung warranty center,
they said if let them fix then my phone will lost all data.
I cant afford to do that.

I also went to Samsung Warranty center at Berjaya today, full of people there...

Some G version user report their phone battery last longer and run at lower temperature.

Some G user also sai thei screen color is better.

dont need, roms will come with their own kernel.
if you dont like that particular rom's kernel then you can flash to other kernel with CWM

Read the instructions the rom installation guide.

All apps can use, can root.
only dont have custom roms

for me its as good i you dont wanna flash roms

stock rom is good enough

You should backup whatever you can.

1. Merge with Google then sync with your gmail
2. Use Titanium backup to backup the apps and its data

Backup efs, read page 1 for more details

Finally, the use Clock work mod to do nandroid back up. This is the most important one.
